Lekato Drum Buddy looks great! Glad you mentioned makes a great Christmas gift. At my age it's hard to come up with things to tell people what you want. Gonna let them know today so they can take advantage of the coupon. I like their wireless system you reviewed that I purchased.
When you first started playing your bass, I noticed intermittent grounding noise. There are a couple of easy ways to avoid this. I would consult with a good guitar tech. One sure fire way to avoid it easily is to borrow another bass.
@@musicalmiscellany I forgot to ask. I'm new to pedals. How are the instructions for plugging into the amp? Do you have a video explaining pedal connections? Thanks.
I suppose I could do a video about that. There's a lot of passionate opinions on the order of effects though. You can read about it here: www.guitarlobby.com/guitar-pedal-order/
@@musicalmiscellany I think a "connections" video would be good. I have a little Orange amp for my box guitar and a Fender Mustang 20 amp, and the first thing I wondered when I saw your video was how to hook up the pedal. Thanks for all your videos!
Hi there! Great video! Simple but straight to what matters. I bought one of these last month, but its not a lekato but a mvave one. I would like to ask if you know if there's a way to save a loop with the drumtrack and export that as an only one archive. Obrigado and cheers from brasil!

Unfortunately they don't have a user manual posted on their website & the interface is not all that intuitive. There should've been some instructions in the box though.
Thanks for the demo sir. Great help for us. Done sub. Thanks also for the tip how to use 9V battery coz some gadgets don’t have battery compartments provided.👍
Hi. Thanks for the review. Looking at the pictures there seems to be a headphone jack? Does that mean the machine can be used with just headphones, no amp? Thanks.
Thanks for checking out the video. You assume correctly. You can plug into the headphone jack and hear what’s coming from the pedal. Needless to say you won’t have any gain or tone controls like you would with an amp but you’ll be able to hear it.
Thanks for watching. There is an app you can download to modify certain params on the pedal. There should be a QR code in the manual for the download location. I can't remember what exactly it lets you modify but I know there are certain things you can customize.
@@Martin-tm2bw I ended up giving mine away to one of my subscribers so I no longer have the manual either. I'm guessing you could contact Lekato Support and ask them.
Thanks for checking out the video. I don't see an easy way to download a soft copy of the manual. Try contacting Lekato Support for that (lekatodeal.com). They may have it posted somewhere. The manual includes a QR code to download the software, so you scan that and it takes you directly to the iOS (or Android) app store. However, if you want to download it directly, the app is called Cubesuite by Sinco Audio. Search for that and you should be able to find it.
I fully understand the scenario you're describing. I've reviewed a few different loopers on this channel and I can't remember for sure how this one reacted. I would try it again, but I no longer have the pedal. Sorry about that. Unfortunately I can't give you a definitive answer, but I'd rather be honest about it.
This may be a stupid question but I just received this pedal as a present and I was wondering whether or not the 4 loops can be played at the same time or if they are just separate loops?
As far as I understand, they are 4 separate loops than cannot be played at the same time (think verse, chorus, and bridge). However, you can layer each loop, so one loop can contain guitar and bass if you want it to.
If you're wanting to just record the drum loop, you could do that just like it were a simple drum machine. Plug the output in your recorder and hit start.
I have the Lakato WS50 5.2Ghz wireless system and love it but the drum sounds on this thing are the worst Ive heard on anything since the early kids Casio keyboards.
Your instrument goes into the input and the output can go to an amp (or PA or recording interface or another effect pedal or whatever you want). In fact that's exactly how I hooked it up in the demo shown at 1:53 in the video -> guitar into pedal, pedal into amp. If you were going to use it in a pedal chain I'd recommend putting it at the end of the chain but you can technically put it anywhere in the chain.
The pedal does have a built-in tuner. You press and hold the 2 black buttons for 3 sec and that activates the tuner circuit. Personally I don't really like this feature because it requires you to bend down and use fingers to access the buttons. I feel like pedals should be able to be operated with your feet. I'd rather use a dedicated tuner with it's own footswitch, but the feature is there if it's useful to someone.
Thanks this pedal will make a good Christmas present. 🎄😃
I agree. It would be a perfect stocking stuffer for the guitarist in your life. 🤩

Looks like there's a 20% coupon check box on it now too, about $10 off. That's a pretty good deal.
