Theres actually a much more cost effective way to do this the moment you can attempt the fight. Buy about 10 juices, open the fight with Kel passing to Omori so he gets sad, and then spam stab the entire time since itll ignore Def when Sad. Whenever Stab would use up the reat of his juice on a turn, have HERO use a juice on him since hes the slowest of everyone and will move after Omori, getting as much out of each juice as possible. Still takes a bit in the fight itself but youll spend way less clams and wont need to grind for any since you should start with about enough for all the juice youll need! This set up makes it possible as early as level 3 and the exp from the tree will be enough to jump everyone up to level 5 too

Is actually really easy to beat this boss, you just have to spam power hit with Aubrey and you win

just make sure to have juice healing items cause if you dont you'll lose all of your juice and you cant use skills
the only way to win is just attacking and hoping they deal a critical hit

Boss itself is easy, just make the tree sad and use Omori’s stab. It ignores defense!

Have you tried some optional hard bosses?
There's the hooligans without pepper spray, perfectheart and basil rush's friend fight for console version
(also i find it weird how all the really hard boss are optional except humphrey who is just barely really hard, and if you did fight them, you get scared of the final fights and how hard they are so you overprepare just for three unlosable fights to end the game off. Its not like its a bad thing, Those three fights are still hard to do emotionally and is some of the best fights in the game, but its just weird that the technical gameplay difficulty of the game nosedives to literally free after the humphrey fight)

Reccomendation got me here... Well I only discovered this boss when I watched a friend playing omori (I did 2 runs of this game and watched 2 friends finishing it, and yet I stil discover new stuff, and being about omori maybe that's why yt recomended to me?) Anyways I felt sad that you beat it only for the item and didn't get the item :'( Upload more videos about omori! (if you want to) and I think it's funny (also sad if you miss them) that there's lots of missable boss or enemies in this game (I won't be saying which ones because of SPOILERS but I'll say to you to try revisiting a certain whale after certain time after concluding this section and if you're inclined doing the bad ending. That's the boss I find most challenging, besides... other ones). ( The following text is Spoilerish maybe? I really like the RPG aspect of omori and felt a little sad that some bosses are locked on the bad ending (by that I mean you have to go through the bad ending to actually be able to challenge those bosses [if Im not mistaken])
