I don't think there's any problem with Basil smiling at Sunny after his confession. The reason why Basil smiles in the secret ending in the first place, according to me, is because of the fact that Basil and Sunny do not have any weight on their minds anymore. They do not need to hide the truth anymore.
I mean, that's what the "Somethings" were for in the first place. Both of the boys were just trying to run away from the problem, blaming it on the "Something".
Basil would smile regardless. Sunny would too with him, for the first time in years :)

I agree with you, it makes sense for them to smile. They are feeling relief from telling the truth after lying for so long.
I love this take on the ending... and the detail that the Headspace friends don't recognize Sunny. I think HS Basil would, though - maybe.

Other than dialogue stuff I think the mod looks great so far. I like how the new addition to neighbors room looks haphazardly thrown together too. Like it was added on to headspace prematurely.

Omori isn’t gone because of his death omori is actually gone because Sunny doesn’t have to carry all his guilt anymore. The truth is already out so why feel the guilt of holding it in for HOLY SH- **clearing throat** anyway now that’s a lot of weight to be holding onto but since it’s all been let go that means omori is gone-

The blunt "me and basil hung her" definitely needs some work. Sunny has been running from this for 4 years now; he's very sensitive to it.

Im guessing that theyll find out that the photos in the photo album were replaced by their real life counterparts, realizing that the people on the album look just like them, which may lead them to believe that sunny is omori

Headspace Basil is showing up like nothing happened, despite being killed by Omori during the events of the good ending. Either that will be explained later, or there's a big plothole already.
maybe bc hs have so many basils like you know, in the humprey moment you can see many of aubreys, kels and heros

@@kyonzinhoHeadspace likely underwent a 'reset' or an 'update' after the Omori fight as he became one with Sunny again, giving Sunny the power to control it. This allowed him to make some changes, such as what appears to be a sense of time (everyone is asleep), a few changes to White Space's layout and the extra room in Neighbour's Room to accomodate the aforementioned day/night cycle, as well as being able to interact with his inner world as himself, not Omori, giving himself a fresh start in Headspace, needing to regain the trust of his friends, just as he will have to do so in the real world.

So in the main game our priority was finding basil, but i this one Will we Search for omori? Does that mean its going to be focusing on basil as a character?

Honestly, a good suggestion i have is, you probably should've reversed the characters reactions from the emotions they correlate with, kinda as shown in that unreleased art of omori found in it's art gallery,
which shows Hero with a face of disgust and revulsion, opposite from his usually passive, mature demeanor
Aubrey showing numbness/apathy, not saying a word, opposite from her fiery confrontational personality, having nothing left to say
and Kel expressing shock, fear, and deep thinking, which would be completely different from his usually impulsive and surface level thought process and general fearlessness towards the unknown.

I feel like for the reveal they should've kept the cutscene style and make it up to interpertation on what he says rather than he saying it through dialogue. I also don't like the fact Sunny try to say "it was an accident" because realistically Sunny would never say that. He'll say what he needs to say and let everyone else speak for themselves

i don't really think sunny would just smile at basil after he told his friends the truth, like 30 seconds ago he was saying something that could potentially make all his friends hate him and basil and then he just smiles at basil, great mod tho

I really like the cool detail at the start when snuuy is telling the truth, in the background you can hear the white space melody, almost like snuuy is trying to get back into white space because this was obviously a very stressful moment for him. 4:19

The dialogue just feels a little too... loose, than with normal omori dialogue. Its just too straightforward, and Sunny gets to the point way to fast, and the characters react to this crazy news a lot quicker, which just feels unnatural when you are talking about
