I was one of the operational staff of CCD since 8 months but I came to know that there is a lot of corruption in between managers . Our general manager charge 2 lakhs for a visit to a city like Guwahati where he hardly spend 50000 and rest in his pockets. This is only one example there are many more examples like the staffs off the camera and sell coffee to customers without billing thus the whole amount goes in their pockets.
Shameful coffee day was always my first choice instead of Starbucks and other brand 😐
This is the reason they failed that's why company's like Starbuck always wins over us

No one interested overpriced coffe becuz it don't provide the quality.
Premium means quality, taste and qty.
But it failing to do .
This quarter was extremely bad
They are dead too in 2-5 yrs

One ground reality of being in losses is the cafe model.... recently been to one CCD cafe...all tables were taken by WFH type people with laptops and hardly few people bought products and blocked tables for hours.... wonder how they thought they will actually earn via this model - whereas in Starbucks people don't block table for hours and staff does come after you if you're order is done to make way for new client
I wonder what they keep doing in their overpriced phone and laptop 🤔

nowadays it feels like not to trust any/such vague motivational and social media posts (like CCD's rise from downfall or overnight success stories), that are made afloat to fool small investors. No one questioned, how they/she did it and people were sharing the posts foolishly with each other and influencing others to buy the stocks
