I noticed there is not a single Autobahn Video with the 2001 Sebring 2.7, so i decided to make one. The car is stock with the 2.7 203 hp gasoline engine and 4 speed automatic. Papers say its topspeed is 134 mph (216 Km/h) and it will need 9.5 seconds from 0-60 mph. I have heavy 19 Inch rims with 235/35 allseason tires on it, that made the car a lil bit slower. 216 km/h is not fast for german Autobahns, but on a sunday morning drive like this, i was the fastest. Ich fahre selbst seit über 10 Jahren so eine Möhre. Ist zwar ein gemütlicher Cruiser aber beileibe keine Rennmaschine, auch wenn die 2,7 Liter Maschine mit 203 Pferden anderes vermuten lässt. 😀
Bei "echten" 216km/h, mit denen der Wagen eingetragen ist, also knapp über 220 lt. Tacho, wird irgendetwas phyisch getrennt, dann gibt es einen kurzen aber spürbaren Ruck und dann geht nichts mehr. Sobald die Tachonadel wieder fällt, schiebt er wieder...
Great car, hard to work on tighter than a pt cruiser, VERY quiet engine, Mine is a 2005 convertible was going to buy a Corvette, but they fall apart to often, miserable to get in and out of and have cheap Stereo head lights that get stuck, never mind MPG = to a F150

Nice, im considering buying a Sebring 2.7 from 2005, who has gone around 10000 KM. Is there something I should know about these cars that you have noticed? They are pretty cheap here, but probably for a reason.
Well i guess you mean 100.000 not 10.000. There is a lot of things you should know about this car and the 2.7. Liter engine is known to be one of worst Chrysler engines when its not good taken care of. If i wrote you everything that could cause problems on this car, i would have to write an essay. But you can buy it if its good taken care of. Always remember to make the oil change in time, it doesnt forgive late oil changes or wrong oil.
@@76Schoeneberg30 Yes, sorry I missed a 0, thanks for answering. I got it in the end it had run 160.000 km in total and oil had a good colour for both transmission and the engine, but I am about to open the engine block next week wish me luck. Id love some more tips if you have any, such how many miles before oil change and what oil is prefered etc.
@@nocturnality1307 The manual says 7500miles or 6 month for engine oil and 100000miles for transmission. If the transmission never has been done, i would recommend doing it and everybody says only use ATF+4 oil and it would be better every 30000miles. I change my engine oil once every 12 month cause i dont drive that much and use 5W30 oil. Never had problems with it in 5 years. Recommended spark plugs Champion RE10PMC5. The air filter is changed in 5 minutes and doesnt cost much, it has the cylinder shape. Things you will probably experince: The door checks will start to make loud noise when opening and closing the door. The Cluster light will go out because of a bad electrical inverter, the air blower motor wont change the blow position between cold/warm and feet/face and windshield because of a bad blend door acutator, the brake calipers and hoses were rusty so the brakes didnt come let go, the airbag Clockspring went bad, so horn anything steering releated didnt work. The blower motor resistor burned, so the air came always on level 4. The strut bearings startet making noises, the inner and outer tie rods and rear control arms startet making noise. I spend so much money on this car, but it never let me down, it always startet and drove. Since i work at a car dealership, i always have acces to cheap parts and labour, so thats not the problem.
@@76Schoeneberg30 wow, well I really like it and want to take good care of it with the knowledge I have. Thanks for all the advice, already two errors exist on it, the AC makes horrible sound when on cooling and one of the windows cant open so propably faulty wires or electric motor.

Бензин уходит как на дрозжах. Но стабильно 210 это неплохо хотя 2,7 должен получше ехать для 203 сил.
Там ограничение, она что на 2.4 151 л.с., что на 2.7 203 л.с. больше 210 не едет.

В своё время по Мурманскому шоссе в Питер так гонял на 2,7. Продал год назад...
In Mexico, this car is called Chrysler Cirrus / Dodge Stratus RT, and used a 4 cylinder engine, 2.4 turbo, and its tooooo much better than the V6 2.7 used in America or Europe. Exclusive from Mexican market. 🫶🏻
