How cool of a day is that?!? I liked the cut away to the Control Room and sharing the email from the fisheries biologist, that was interesting how they extrapolate their information for a reasonable conclusion. I use Sriracha hook baits and chili powder in my pack bait here in KY as well, for the same reason. One lake especially is loaded with channel cats, reminds me of fishing bullhead in the great lakes, one after another! Thanks for the content, helps to scratch the itch as i patiently wait for warmer water temps!

Cool to catch a tagged fish and to have a dialogue with the fish biologists doing the research!
I also deal with carp collecting weeds on their way to the net and have found the “steady pressure” method to be quite effective in clearing and landing those fish. Great advice for newbies who’ve not experienced that scenario!!

Tom, I gotta ask when you're done with a days of fishing, what do you do with your hair-rig bait? I've tried to re-use tiger nuts and they dry out so dang quick. Should I re-use them or just chum em out into the swim? I appreciate your videos, thanks for helping to bring carp fishing to the USA!
