If you like Nike shoes, and budget isn’t an issue; Training shoes: invincible 2s or invincible 3s Racing shoes for 5k/10k: streakfly Nike zoomflys are nice mix between a race shoe and a training shoe if you’re more of a casual running not running professionally.
my schedule is workout on monday, recovery run on tuesday, normal run wednesday, workout thursday, recovery run friday, long run saturday, and then sunday is a rest day
Start easy by doing on of those each week and you can later at the second workout. If you have much experience sub 4:20 Mile you can combine both workouts to one.
Usually the middle is best for longer distances and the front is good for sprints. Avoid heel strikes because they absorb your energy and damage your heels.

Just go to fleet feet
Run slower and longer, shim splits come from sprint training, they are unheard of in long distance running
You mean people pay to learn how to run ?!!!!

The question is how long is the recovery time?
He literally shows the recovery times in the video
@@kieransoregaard-utt8 hmm damn
Personally I do 4 minutes recovery and that’s what works best for me and I’ve still seen progress.
