Today we take a look at another Legacy Lightsaber however unlike the others where you could obtain them from Star Wars Galaxy's Edge this one is only obtainable at the Galactic Starcruiser which is a pricey Star Wars adventure for a 2 night stay where you can live out your own star wars story

It would’ve made more sense if they had a build your own lightsaber scrap metal set exclusively for the hotel, but what do I know? I’m just one of the fans 😂

That would have been smart. Maybe less of a scrap theme but maybe have like an old Jedi saber droid be part of the exspiriance with a special wide verity set of savi compatible parts

I just went to Galaxy’s Edge and built my own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. It is a very fun experience and totally worth the price
Do they give you the blavk long bags now instead of a clear plastic bag?

I just went last week to Savi's workshop to build my lightsaber, totally worth it. I now have a really nice lightsaber along with memories of an awesome experience. They have the black bag for it again, it is padded with foam rubber to protect the saber and a strap that made it easy and comfortable to carry around the park fir the rest of the day.
Me: "Eh, it's ok, doesn't look TOO special but I do like the PT era look of it"
Also me when James activates the saber and it revs like a damn supercar: "Ok that's kinda sick tho"
I visited the Starcruiser on May 4th, 2023 and decided against getting the lightsaber... The next week they announced the closing of the Halcyon experience, so of course I had to have one and managed to obtain one from a smuggler that was going there on a trip. I'm over protective of it at this point! Thanks for the insightful review!
To have your name etched in Aurebesh would have been the better way to do this. That would actually be pretty cool. I like this idea 👍🏻
When it comes to the customisation with the letters, I can totally see them falling of or being knocked off and lost, even at home, so unless it's in my display cabinet I wouldn't put it on the lightsaber. The fact that they don't give you few sets is a bit ridiculous. Not to mention that it's barely customisation.
I agree etching the letters in would have been a better way of doing it.
It reminds me of Anakin’s Lightsaber from Attack of the Clones.

That's a beautiful hilt. I like that saber,if the jedi and lightsaber construction were real I think my saber would probably look like this hilt. Very unique looking hilt. Awesome review and I just subscribed to your channel...I had to, you have awesome videos/reviews.

So not only do I have to pay 5000 dollars to get into the hotel, I have to pay an extra 170 for the lightsaber with cheaply made plastic buttons that somehow up the price tag 20 dollars? That's a no from me.
Well yes. But remember that a glass of blue milk is 8.50$. You get it for free at the starcruiser. Just drink 600 glases of blue milk. And boom. WIN

@@SteelBuckeye ah the fuzzy Wookie I wonder what that drink is like? I tried the fuzzy Tauntaun a few years back at Galaxys Edge. That was good and it had a numbing effect on your mouth lol it was an off world drink for sure

Ah yes, put the activation button in an area that is not that visible and not the big red button that not even clickable

Just gonna say, that's the most generic looking lightsaber Ive ever seen. Seriously for the amount of scratch you're paying just to get on the damn Starcruiser you should be able to get something cooler looking that that. Looks like someone took a flashlight, slapped some buttons on it and called it a day.
Couldnt say it better myself so Imma just comment Ditto on this one.
That's kinda how most Star Wars props are made my dude. Anakin's/Luke's first saber was made from a camera flash and had some greeble thrown on.
@@Luministrus Most of us know how the original lightsabers were made and what they were made from, but we're past that. For around 3K a ticket for the star cruiser and the fact they're owned by billion dollar titan Disney, they could have really got in a think tank and came up with something more appealing and very unique.
This we be missed forever in my collection.

Hey what are your thoughts on the May 4th lightsaber? Last year we had luke and leia, then temple guard. What do you think will be available this year?
It’s crazy to me that the letters don’t click in or have any other safety measures besides the small magnet. I can see many people losing their tokens easily
For $6,000, stuff like this should really be included
I like the design of it, but those Legacy Sabers are just to bulky in my opinion, it be like holding a baseball bat from the batting part of it and not the grip part of it.
That’s how bulky they actually are in Star Wars, but they are much heavier than toy lightsabers, even though that’s accurate as well.
@@stanleyyelnats476 No, that's not how they were in the movies, well maybe in the Original Trilogy movies yea, but not the Prequels, they were about the size of a sink tube.

whats really frustrating is i have mobility issues so travel is hard for me and not only getting to disneyland but around it if i ever got there would be so hard. but i really want one of savvi's workshop lightsabers but as i cant go ill never get one as i refuse to pay scalper prices online.

Hi all, I am from England and will be visiting disney in August and was wondering is it only us citizens that can buy lightsabers in Doc ondars because i obviously wont have an american phone number to recieve a text after scanning the qr code to get in the lightsaber buying queue???

Do you have to go to Savi’s workshop for a legacy saber? Is Hasbro better? I want one (with blade) but don’t want to spend an outrageous price. I know you said this one is 170$. I won’t be like cosplaying with it. Just to sit up and look cool…

My legacy Luke Skywalker saber is having issues now. Makes the sounds but doesn’t light up. I think I might go with a saberforge or other brand next time.
Try q lgt reseller like dark wolf good sabers at affordable prices or if ur uk based id recommend es sabers they have a channel if u wanna check em out
Did you try checking the insides of the blade? Mine did that too and the blade was the problem.
@@jediweaponmasterliam9 no I’ll take a look. The blade worked on my other sabers. I will try new batteries as well.

Legacy sabers from Galaxy's edge are probably going to be brighter, but independent, non-licensed sabers are going to give you the best quality. If you want screen accuracy and the license matters to you, go with the Legacy sabers.

@@brendobaggins In my personal opinion, Saberforge. Very good looking hilts, and really good prices, especially if you go with the ECO line. Those sabers are much more affordable but still feature-rich.
@@brendobaggins darkwolf sabers or the crimson dawn are both company’s that have amazing lightsabers a lot of the time that are cheaper than Disney’s

Yeah, they should've made the Arabesh letter snap on the stub more solidly like a snap button on a jacket. Poor design for that part.
As much as they're charging to go to this thing, they should *give* you that saber, not charge you a premium.
i do like the sounds on it, but everything by else is quite disappointing

They really need to upgrade the electronics on these sabers. They sound terrible compared to independent saber companies.

It’s really not a quality issue…it’s all about exclusivity. To a true fan of this franchise just having one is everything.
Love it. Looks vaugely like one of grievous' sabers that he has on his belt. Ill be picking this up when i go!
The on screen sabers that grievous has in Episode III are actually just a bunch of Anakin and Obi Wan hilts along with other Jedi hilts from the movies. They didn’t actually have dedicated lightsabers to model for grevious in the movie considering they only appear on screen for less than a minute

Considering what you have to spend to be able to get that lightsaber, it looks cheap. The fake red button, on/off switch and letters all could have been better. This looks like junk.
That lightsaber hardly seems worth it when you have to pay hundreds to go to the hotel, AND buy it
