  • @eyitayoajayi2815
    @eyitayoajayi2815 Před 21 dnem +8

    What was in the "proposal" that Hamas accepted? Why did Israel reject the proposal? Have Hamas and Israel not rejected "proposals" in the past? Why this sudden noise about Israel's refusal? Did the Hamas not fire rockets from the Rafah crossing recently? Why is not part of the panel's analysis? I think there should be balanced reporting about what is going on in the Middle East. A one-sided reporting favoring or at the disadvantage of any of the sides will not help the situation. Most importantly, all hands MUST be on deck to stop this bloody war.

  • @wiseab
    @wiseab Před 21 dnem +7

    Today, I will disagree with all your analysis on this issue. You are clearly pandering to the sentiments of HAMAS as they had expected in the long term. Let's be clear, every single civilian death due to the continued hostilities in Gaza is sad, and unacceptable, and should never have happened. Sadly, it is happening, and we cannot become amnesic by blaming Netanyahu alone for the continued conflict.
    The best scenario was that October 7th should never have happened. Unfortunately, HAMAS chose to do it. The next best scenario was Israel should have avoided a ground invasion of Gaza after October 7th. Sadly, Netanyahu and the Israeli government had no other politically viable choice than to prove Israel could fight HAMAS back. Unfortunately, that means thousands of dead Gazans and the destruction of the livelihood of another generation of Gazans, a cost that HAMAS was willing to pay, and the Israelis seem oblivious of.
    As of today, realism and a pragmatic way forward do NOT allow the Israeli government to settle for anything less than disabling HAMAS permanently, and that can never happen if they don't go into Rapha. Going into Rapha means more death. The big question is if any of you were in Benjamin Netanyahu's shoes at this point, what would you do: attempt to finish the job of destroying HAMAS and live with the tag of being a genocidal warmonger or stop halfway today, and still live with the tag of genocidal warmonger.🤷‍♀? The answer is obvious, he will continue to fight because he has nothing else to lose at this stage of his political career. And if any of you truly know how the US-Israeli alliance works, the White House cannot stop Israel on this issue. The dilemma is that HAMAS cannot eat their cake and have it, and neither should the Israelis do the same. The long-term consequences on both parties are inevitable at this stage, and the world would have to live with that reality.
    Personally, I am a pacifist who would never support preventable wars. Any other option but war is most acceptable to me because no one wins any war; you only have the best losers. HAMAS action is NOT in the Palestinian interest, and current Israeli actions are NOT in the best interest of Jews, either. Hopefully, the Gaza conflict shall end soon, like every other before it but, I hope the actors and their allies will learn that continued war is no solution. In the end, a peaceful compromise reached at a dialogue table is the only way. Now, they can dialogue to get ceasefires but, refused to dialogue to prevent the conflict in the first. Will either party ever learn?

    2. Allow free movement from South to North.
    3. The hostages will be release after about four months. After reconstruction of Gaza by UN
