    The Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini Snow Edition is so much fun to build in. This will be my "travel" PC for when I go to events like CES and need to edit content on location. Hopefully the world gets back to normal soon so that I can actually use it for that! Yes laptops can do this too but having 12 cores / 24 threads in an actual PC when your tired from a long event is a quality of life type of deal.

    I'm about to transfer my atx MoBo and 360mm AIO into this case and it looks sooo close to being able to fit the AIO at the top, I have pretty low profile ram, so I may just do this until someone finally makes a white 280mm AIO. I have 7 Corsair white ML 120s and 2 ML 140s that should look great in this case, I also got the white vertical GPU mount for my 3080 Ti Vision to complete the all white theme, I need the radiator to fit at the top for all this to work, so thanks for the tip!! They should have figured out a way to make this possible, it would be the most versatile case by far if they just shifted things around ever so slightly. Great vid!

    Thanx for the video. Confirmed my suspicion but nowhere else was there much mention about that top fitment. It looks like the bottom rad can sit closer to the glass than the top one. Thus offset mounting like this has to be done to make it work. May just drill some holes for the closer to glass side and use big washers on the other edge to grab onto the lip of that other rail. Zipties look fine for temporary solution but afraid they may start to sag after a while.

    I'm torn on the 14 cm Bionix fans. Reviews on Amazon.ca say that these fans are loud, have low airflow and some have a chronic hum. Right now I don't have any and an RTX 3090 with an ATX X570 board and a 360mm CPU AIO I mounted at the top same as you (thank you for the idea!)
    I had a water cooled 2080ti before this, with a 140 mm AIO on it, and it ran so cool (about 39 idle-52C load).
    Now the 3090 has trouble with memory junction temp (like 100+C), even though the card is at 50-60C under load. I'm hoping putting in 2x 140mm fans will help a bit. I'm afraid that only a thermal pad upgrade will help, and the card is 1 day old! I'm kind of sad Gygabite didn't spend the extra dollar to get a better thermal pad on it. The card costs a small fortune.
    I do also have 2 120mm fans on the bottom, All my fans are DeepCool fans. I really like the flow, looks and noise levels. They replaced my Corsair RGB fans.

    • @DaPoets
      @DaPoets  Před 3 lety

      The BioniX generate some noise when on full load but you should never need to run them that fast as they move a large amount of air before they become audible. If your fan curve is adjusted properly they give excellent performance at a very low dBa. Many people just don't take the time to adjust their fan curves properly. Just keep in mind the ones I used are high airflow.

    Hey DaPoets! I have completed my case swap into the lian li mini but I’m getting CPU temps of 75° on average and 64° GPU (360 AIO mounted up top as 3 exhaust, Side 2 fans as intake, Bottom 3 intake)
    What temps were you getting in this build?
    I’m considering to case swap again into the regular lian li evo :( due to my temps

    • @dude9237
      @dude9237 Před 2 lety

      I case swapped from a lian li o11 (OG version) and my temps were closer to 55° CPU/GPU, using the exact same parts as before

    • @DaPoets
      @DaPoets  Před 2 lety +1

      Smaller cases will have higher temps in general. Reapplying thermal paste may help your CPU. Your gpu temps seem fine for most gpus

    • @dude9237
      @dude9237 Před 2 lety

      @@DaPoets Yeah I was expecting higher temps, just not 82 celcius higher :( that's like 20-30 celcius higher than what I had before. To be honest I may just have to case swap again. After all this is my only PC that I use daily so it's a bit concerning to be reaching temps that high daily. Especially if I upgrade to higher end parts down the line the temps will continue to rise

    • @dude9237
      @dude9237 Před rokem

      @@DaPoets Just update, I did re-apply the thermal paste and the temps are pretty much the same MAYBE dropped like 1 Celsius. But overall I'm hovering around 76-79 Celsius on CPU under load, and then like between 65-76 GPU under load.
      Thanks again for your help and advice!
