Riding Kymco AK 550 On The Freeway (Depression Therapy)

- Decided to get out and ride today. I had a few errands to run so I hoped on the Kymco AK 550. In my last video you heard how depressed I was so I am trying to keep myself busy. Today was a much better day than the past few days.
I am looking forward to the summer so that I can get out and ride. I love getting out and feeling the wind rush against my face. I was a bit surprised on how noisy the freeway was. For some reason I was not expecting to hear each car tire as it rolled across the uneven services.

I was not doing good either but i recently bought a brand new motorcycle and ever since that day, I'm slowly getting better! I never thought of riding my scooter as Therapy, but there’s some truth to that. I’m glad to know you are feeling better. I’m planning a 10 hour trip to the Dragons Tail. I’m just waiting for warmer days.
That will be a very nice ride, I plan on doing one to the beach which is only about an hour away for me.

Lastly, I know a bit about depression and feel for you brother. Sounds like you are doing ok. It does and will get better.
Depression is not easy but it happens to a lot of people . I got it to . just do thing's you enjoy to get better . Like Riding your scooter or e 🚲 bike .get we'll . Ride safe . I am going to Malibu maybe to ride to big sur California on my motorcycle or scooter when the weather get good . I live in near Tucson AZ I am gonna trailer it to Malibu .

Hi! Just discovered your videos! I, too, have been battling depression since my teen years (I'm in my late 60s) and find riding motorcycles and scooters helps me out of my funk. It focuses my mind outside myself and makes all the difference. I'm now looking at buying an AK550 and wondering about the seat height. I'm 5'5" and since I've never seen an AK550 in person, don't know if the seat height would be too tall. How tall are you?
You be fine this scooters are very easy to ride . Just get tall riding boots that are easy on your feet . If you're near Southern Arizona . Go AZ motorcycle dealer in Scottsdale Arizona I sold a piaggio mp 3 500 that I gave very good care of . 8600 ml on it . Top cargo trunk loud muffler . Powerful to go on interstate hwy . I just wanted another scooter to buy . Nobody has them in stock .I be seen some of this scooters they not that big . But you have to have some strength to move them around . The mp3 has 3 wheels that Lock easy to move . they got video's on CZcams . Practice on quiet parking lot the quiet road .
Don't forget to wear your earplugs on the freeway 🤗
Yes for sure, I have very little experience on Freeway and was surprised by the noise.
@@RiderGuy Freeway is the safest palce to ride, I use earplugs no matter where I'm riding to 🤣
