When is the right time to cash in on premium silver?

- I have a dilemma, the QB silver coin series has gone from strength to strength and instinct is telling me to cash in while the going is good. Some of these coins would represent a doubling of my initial investment. Is this too good to turn down?
Great points you bring up.My silver is money. this is my mindset.I buy every month. I have 2 stacks.bacause I had to sell some 2 years ago and learnt an important lesson.My 2 stacks is this. Regular low premium stuff ,Cheap coins and bars Just bullion quality that if I need to sell I can. And my other stack which is the good stuff. Which is 10 oz George and the Dragons...pandas...some Perth mint stuff from years ago...10 oz Snakes etc. Some vey nice Pamp Suisse bars . Not everything goes up . I would keep the good stuff. Just my 2 cents.

Keep the faith until youve completed the set. Who knows what they'll be worth then!

It boils down to a few things, 1 Do you really want the 10oz set? I ask this as your collecting various parts of this set.
2) if you don't mind selling the set SELL IT!!!! The mark UP and premium you can get, reinvest into something you want, or treat yourself.
Personally I keep my silver, but I am plagued with the same dilemma as yours.
I’m struggling honestly, this year I want to rebalance for more gold and this would be a good way for me to do that. Argh! Hard!
I am currently disposing of silver and using the funds to buy gold. Gold has performed much better and I am betting it will continue to do so. The 10oz QB's, however, will be the last to go as I enjoy them so much along with other 10oz coins by the Perth and Royal Canadian Mints. The big challenge is to at least break even when selling the silver. The large premiums when buying and large discounts when selling make timing important. However, if converting to gold, taking a loss on silver may still pay if gold is a good buy at the time. If you are a sophisticated seller, you may pull it off, but for most of us, we are at the mercy of bullion dealers who treat everything as bullion.
I certainly want more gold but I’m not planning on converting unless I can get 50:1 ratio at least, some of these beasts would allow that to occur!

Mate what a dilemma, I would only get rid now if you wanted to put the cash into something else. I think the QB series will take a lot of beating. Hopefully it will grow in value as it ages. You have some cracking pieces like those prospect bars and the ww2 German coins I would buy them in a heartbeat. But cash is king as they say lol. Good luck on your decision.
I’d only convert into cash to invest in other things, like some more crypto of gold. So it would just be cash temporarily! Thanks for the input!
Finish the set is my advice of all the coins i have the only bullion set i like is the 10oz queens beast set and i want to collect them all i just need a Lion at the moment trying to find one for about 300ish

I would wait until the series is finished and then re-think about. Or exchange them for their equivalent price in Gold.
I’m worried that once the series finishes there will be a flood of people unloading. Prices would go down in that case. So hard to choose what to do!

With still 2 more releases I feel like you do have time buddy. I myself have sold most of my premium silver this last couple of months and converted to more gold and Silver Eagles (USA resident).
Eventually I’ll settle for bullion only rather than collections, but these are hard to let go of!
I don't look forward to the day when I have to decide whether to sell my 10oz QBs. They're such awesome looking coins

I know, is hard to give away such a nice collection (or coin) but at the end of the day you will be better!!
If you bought them with the sole purpose of investment, you should sell them.
I literally only bought the lion because it was such a bargain at the time. So maybe I should!
Don't sell finish the set and in long run it be worth more
