Hung a 65" TV with these over 2 yèars and still holding strong. To keep the bolt hole from spinning make sure that you have a tight fit before snapping those plastic arms off.
Hey Casper! I don't have drywall, just sheetrock. How many of these zip-tie cinch-type TOGGLER bolts are recommended to mount a 65" tv over a fireplace? There are no studs, just sheetrock and the weight of the television is 64 pounds. Would REALLY APPRECIATE your help/expertise!!!
Update! Yes, it held up over time until I moved to California and had to take it down. sorry for the late response.. I didn't realize this video would be seen by so many
Thanks for the update. I have to use one stud cuz mines are 24in apart instead of 12-16in. I want to use 2 lag bolts in the stud and 2 elephant anchors on each 4 corners of the wall mount. I have a 75' TV. I need it to be secure.
Thank you! My tv mount came with these and the wall I want to hang my tv behind the wall used to be a door - so no studs. Could not find anywhere how to use these... thank you!!
I always used zip toggles instead of finding the stud and this was back when the first flat screens came out weighing a 100lb lol never had one fall off the wall.
I’m astounded that drywall even CAN hold up a TV at all let alone a Bravia. Funny i got the same model from same year, 55 though. I mounted on brick though i would have never had the gall to try what you just did!
Lots of reviewers on other sites said they had issues with the toggles falling off and landing in the wall cavity. Did you have that issue at all? I figure they just aren't pulling on the ties hard enough to anchor it against the back of the sheetrock. I'm going to try these to mount a Dakboard above our fireplace. Thanks for posting this video!
Usually you don't want to just use toggles on drywall with a full motion mount. After a while it can pull the drywall and TV down. Always hit studs with mounts that come out of the wall. Or use a mount that stays close to the wall. Just a tip
@@vinniemauro2894 i know! You are right. I have used those types of anchors(snap-toggles),and regular wall anchors as well. But in his case it’s pretty safe to assume that it took a nose dive. He only needed 4 holes in total. But he made like 15 holes and used like 10 snaptoggles. That’s why i laughed when the guy wrote if it took a nose dive. Just imagining it makes a person chuckle a little bit. But than again! Some people go Pablo Picasso when it comes to mounting tv’s. Specially placing the frame on the wall, they literarily do a sketch pad on it.
R.I.P tv. I wonder if he’s still wondering🤔. What did i do wrong. In theory! Based on the weight of the tv,by placing it on two studs,2 screwss would it been enough. That tv looked very thin. Probably it weight like 50lbs at most. If it were to be super heavy, than do two screws on each stud.

Before anything thank you, After searching and watching many videos. You were the only one who showed the name of the toggle name. Awesome

0/5/31 - The last day of May NWH RIP 🙏
Any updates ?
Cool
Can we get an update. Is it still holding up? Sturdy? 👀
Can you provide link for purchase?
So whats the update?
Bro never ever use the free junk they send with the TV or any furniture. Always buy your own anchor screws! I learned this the hard way.

He busted his studs though

Didn't name what the hell that thing is your penetrating the wall with bro

Morgan!
That TV stay where it was supposed stay? (or did it take a nose-dive?)
😂😂😂😂. If it did, most likely it did. R.I.P tv.
@@Veryunluckyman56689 I don’t think it did? These toggle bolts can hold a lot of weight, even a basic drywall anchor can hold 75lbs

Why? Usually these toggle bolts are rated for much more weight, even most wall anchors are rated for 75lbs lol
