Nice job and entertaining. We just bought this exact TV mount as per my wife's orders. I still cannot believe that 10 small nails in sheetrock can hold a 50lb TV. I sure would like to know the physics behind this, because it just doesn't seem possible. But, it obviously works. Thanks for building my confidence in this product. LOL
Doesn't it come with a safety cable that you also need to attach and fasten into the wall to prevent the TV from accidentally getting nudged off of the mount?
Thanks! I ended up using this kit to conceal the cables, which has worked out well: amzn.to/3pzb0b6 - and for the power cord, I used this angled one to minimize how far it sticks out: amzn.to/3pDL3r2
I'm curious about the part that goes on the back of the TV are there many holes? The two screw holes on my TV are 15 1/2 inches apart. Thanks good video 👍
I literally just brought the same one! However, the booklet I got with the tv says to remove the base before mounting. But the instructions with the no stud tv wall mount doesn’t say that. Now I’m stuck on if I should remove it or not lol. Please send HELP thank you.
If your wood house is like all other houses, then you have a stud every 16". The distance between the two screws at the ends of the hanger is 16". So, the best thing is to make sure that two or even four screws are in two studs. If you say no stud to worry about, you will still, accidently, attach the hanger to at least one stud 🙂 They are brilliant in their ads.
So basically, no matter where I mount the tv on the wall if my wall has a stud every 16" and the bracket is 16" then i have no choice to run into a stud at some point. Which is why I assume they want you to use all 10 nails to mount the bracket. My goodness this is really not rocket science after all! Thank you sir for explaining this dummies like me lol..
Now it's $15. I see it is tilt down at a small angle. Can you make it not tilt at all? maybe put some kind of spacer behind the bottom part of the TV. do you think that will work?
If your TV doesn't weigh a bajillion pounds like mine does, I think you could try using the bottom two mounting holes instead of the top two like I did. If it does weight a bajillion pounds then, yeah, I think you could stuff a nerf ball behind it or something as long as you don't block any inputs or vents. Good luck!
Great sense of humor, liked the voice over.
Love it man! Just bought the same one. Thanks for a good laugh and a quick install

If the bracket is longer than 16 inches then chance are one of those nails is going in the stud.
I think each nail hold a certain amount of weigh
Each nail holds about 10lbs and you got 9 nails, that is 90lbs and your tv is 50lbs ; so I guess you’re good. 😉👍🏽
Doug you did a awesome job! Very funny, very informative! Nice work
Thank you, Kevin!
Thinking of buying the same one thanks for the review
Best video ever!!! Your the best you made it easy for this lady to do it! Thank you so much!
Quality production. Really strange you only got 46 subs. Imma get this up and be your 47th honored subscriber. Cheers
i wanted to see exactly which screws you chose to put in the back of the tv but decent video
“There will be one stud in this video tho!” Hilarious

yeah ig he didnt use it
Funny, but I was hoping you would show how the wires went in because it looks like you have the same setup I do.

Where is the security wire ? How do you install that
this is probably the only video on CZcams that is worth a damn 🦫
What's different between hangman brand and
AENTGIU brand tv mouth
It was hilarious if all his vids are like this I'm watching them no matter what they are about 😂 😆
"15 minutes of snacks, but I edited that out." I've never related to a handyman tutorial harder
I'm curious about the part that goes on the back of the TV are there many holes? The two screw holes on my TV are 15 1/2 inches apart. Thanks good video 👍
Hi, Andrea - yes, there are eight holes, which should accommodate the width of just about any TV.
@@doug-videos Thank you very much appreciated
Super funny! Great review
Thank you!
Thank you for 2 things:
1. Showing me where to place the wall bracket on the back of the tv.
2. Making me laugh 😂.
This was great. Thanks😊
This is a great video. That was so funny🤣😂😂
😂 funny diy video, keep them coming
Man you are funny! Is the TV still hanging? Do you trust it?
It’s been a year how’s it holding ?
Love your personality. You made what could’ve been a boring video fun to watch 🤣😂
Thanks!
So I was contemplating this for a 55 inch tv but just worried and skeptical about the durability. Anybody have a tv that large on it?
I used it on my 55 Sony. It hung for two years until i moved ...Tv was about 50 lbs
Is the TV still up?

Hey Doug, I have a Phillips 65" that weighs 40 lbs. This product should hold this up no problem, correct?
Yes, the TV in this video is also 40 pounds. It's been hanging on my wall for months without any issues!
@@doug-videos Has it had any issues since then??
@@mac7723 Nope - still holding strong!
Hilarious loved the dad jokes 😂
Thanks very much!

The studs can be 24 inches apart. I recently mounted a TV for someone and they were 24 inches apart.
2:36 literally crying 😂 u are so funny
Well done, you have a new follower. They should sponsor you!
Just one question. What did your wife say when she saw what that poor wall looked like? You are very funny and I enjoyed your video. Thank you!
Ha - in this case, she hasn't seen it yet. So provided we live in this house forever and never take the TV down, I won't get in trouble!
@@doug-videos Good luck with that. Haha.
Half hour for hair & make up 😂 okay.. u got me. I’m subscribing
Once I get that step down to 15 minutes, I'll finally have time to crank out more videos!
😂😂😂 i love the sense of humor

@@doug-videos hey i got two questions for you, how much does your tv weigh and is the mount holding up well?
How is this mount still holding up? I just purchased the same one over Christmas.
Yep, still there!
Is it still holding the TV up on the wall??
Still there! I will let everyone here know - probably with another video - if it ever falls down.
2:15 thats how i like to do things as well 😂
Ha - exactly. It's the only way! (Unless you're patient and... not lazy. I am neither.)
keep the diy videos coming funny information...I'm doing it your way..lmao
How do you remove it or unmount it ?
Hammer
"There will be ONE stud in this video" 🙄🙄🙄🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾 subscribed!!!!
this video needs more views 😂
Did it fall down yet?
Still holding!
There is no way in hell I am mounting a new television to anything other than a structural member.
This dude is hilarious 😂🤣
ur actually pretty funny
Ha ha thanks doug
You are funny
1 year later ................. ?
Still there! No disasters yet.
Lmao great vid... you could definitely grow your channel if you wanted too! 😉
I would not hang an older tv; way to heavy
Yeah, it's a little scary at first but mine's been hanging since March without any issues. It's rated for up to 80 pounds in drywall.
Ong ur too funny
😅
Hilarious
😂
lol
Just use a stud finder
