The security cable is to prevent you from moving the tv without first unscrewing the cable. It's not meant to catch the tv as it falls. Also, you need to shorten it by knotting the cable as many times as it takes to make it not visible.
Thanks, comment pinned so people can know what the cable is for. Thanks and Take care!!!
When I opened the package and saw the number of nails and screws, I said “NOPE” and put everything back inside the box. Fast forward to today, I searched for videos on NO STUD TV WALL MOUNTS and came across your video. After watching, I feel more comfortable. I’m going to give it a try.
😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀 you are too funny. Don't worry, I was nervous also, and my monitor is 32 in. I can't imagine a giant tv. I'm glad the video gave you more confidence. Let me know how everything goes 💪🏾
I had a similar experience as you. I purchased a tilting TV rack from a discount store, but when I saw all the anchors and screws required, I decided not to install it. I wanted to keep my security deposit intact, so I stored the rack in the closet. A few months ago, I watched his video and got this rack on Amazon
I found a few vid showing how to mount the rack without damaging the wall, but now I want to move the TV to another room and I don't know how to remove it.
I couldn’t be the only that skipped half the video 😂
@@Marvinjnr100 nope lol dude even got on different gear lol
Why i thought Quavo did a DIY videos for an Amazon product lmfaoo
lol 💀!
Yo that's crazy I was just thinking like he favor quavo a lot 😂😂😂
Nah fr wtf I came for a drill-less tv mount video and thought I met quavo😅
#momma
Oh my goodness I was thinking the same exact thing!!! LOL
Exactly the review I was looking for, great job.
Glad it was helpful!
I love these things. I mounted my 65 inch and my 50 inch in under an hour by myself 👍🏾
That is awesome! I can't believe you have a 65 inch and 50 inch hanging on this mount. I was nervous with my light 32 inch monitor 😅
How long has/did it stay up ?
@@mariahfountain7074 they both have been up since December 2022
@@mariahfountain7074 Honestly there are mirrors that people hang that are way heavier than these tv’s. I believe the reason why these mounts work so well is because since there are so many nails , eventually you’re gonna hit a stud at some point.
this picture shows the tv to be bend downwards in an angle. can you tilt the viewing angle for that or how do you keep it straight?
Just purchased two of them two weeks ago was afraid to use em. But now I know exactly how to do it. I’m putting mine up this weekend. Thanks.
Glad I could help. Good luck!
Yup love it, it’s been a year. I have two 55” tv hung up on them.
Cool!
Did you have to peel the adhesive portion or did you leave the white adhesive on the mount and just nail the mount to the wall?
BEEN USEING IT FOR OVER A YEAR GOT MINE FRPM WALMART AND WORKED GREAT NO ISSUES
That’s awesome!!! It is pretty cool!
You did a great job,now I will buy one for my 24 in. Tv for my spare room. Thanks .
Awesome! Thank you!
Hello I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video. I purchased a TV today and mounted it all by myself in about 20 minutes! I am the man of this house 💅🏽😂.
Glad I could help, lol 😆
I bought 2 from Amazon now you have me excited I was nervous before I read your comment lol
@@UNRULYMARSHA It’s sooo easy, I know you will do great!
@@leelee459I'm back to say I installed it and it was quite easy. Thank you for the motivation
@@leelee459 you’re not a man though you’re a woman
Just purchased one for my 50"....works great.... thank you sir!
No problem! You are brave. I was nervous with a 30in 🤣 Take care!
Thank you very much for your video! The instructions were great that they came with. You helped me a lot!
Glad I could help!
Thanks for your video. My boyfriend has now put up our 40" tv from watching your video so easy to install! And surprisingly sturdy 😁
Glad I could help!😀
Just saw your video, was real unsure about this but now I'm good. Setting up my new office in my loft. Thanks
Excellent! Glad the video helped!
You did a fantastic job, and could be understood easily. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful! Take care!!!
Thank you so much. Your video was the best one for instructions. The other videos were not helpful at all. But yours is worthy. 🎉🎉🎉
Glad it helped!☺️
I'm currently setting up my 50 in, in the living room. Love the channel name. ❤
Awesome! Thank you! You got this! 🙌 if possible ask a friend to help because it's not easy to put on by yourself. Good luck! ☺️
Bought 2 for my 32" and 50" televisions. VERY secure. Took literally 5 minutes apiece. Only pain in the butt was getting it perfectly level.
I can agree with you on that one! 😅 Take care!
I actually just bought one today. I can't wait to do it myself!!!😊
sorry for the late reply. How did everything go? I hope 🙏 it was a success
I don't know if mine is different, but for the security cable it went through both the tv bracket and the wall bracket and I secured the bottom part of it to one of the lower VESA holes.
I figured the wall bracket isn't likely coming off and the tv will still technically be attached to that, even if the TV side.of the bracket falls off.
I screwed the security cable on the stud and the other part on my TV that way if it falls my TV will be held on by the stud. As long as your TV is secured to something strong you will be good thanks for dropping by!
The cable is not to support the tv in the event of the bracket failing. Its a security feature to prevent someone from lifting the TV off the wall mount, without first unscrewing the cable.
Thanks. Lol. I took it down now. I might relocate it. I put a new monitor mount on. I will mention that if I do another video about that.
Take care!
This helped me a lot I got my TV up !! Thank you
Glad I could help!!! Thanks!!!
Thankyou this video helped! I was nervous to actually buy!
No problem! I wish you success 🙏🏾
Did you do review of this new one they got out called The hang Smart TV Mount? It's two individual pieces with a couple hooks and I think four nails in each separate bracket that nails into the wall at an angle. I got so many issues with this one I have to see what you think
Hello friend, I just looked up the TV mount you mentioned, and it looks exciting. I put it in my Amazon favorites, and I will try to review it soon. $60 seems too much for this style, but if it does what it says it does as far as holding a 19- to 100-inch TV, it is worth it. When I review it, I will remember to tag you. Thanks and take care!
Thank you for showing me the demonstration. I’m going to order me one thank you.❤
You are so welcome! Be safe!
Maybe I missed it, but what’s the size of the tv/monitor you used? Also, congratulations on your channel growing 🙌🏾👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks Shelly!!!! I’ll never forget about the day ones 🙏🏾 I’m using a 32 in computer monitor which is very light!!! I’m actually nervous to put a 55 inch tv on it lol. I think I’ll save that test on a broke tv. But everything is hanging well and the nails are still on the wall pretty tight .
How’s the mount holding up (literally 😂)? I was just looking at this mount on Amazon…
will this work on mobile homes walls? They are not dry walls
Does it work on an insignia 50 inch fire tv ?
I know it specifically says dry wall but do you think I can mount it on a wooden beam in my enclosed outdoor area?
Sorry for the late reply. I'm pretty sure you can nail it to wood. I'm not sure if you need longer nails or stronger nails. I hope this helps.
I've had this thing for over a year.. It scares the shit shittoutta me! it sits, un opened, behind my 50' on the tv console.
Hell I had an anxiety attack watching you lol
Lol 😆 and the funny part is that I have a small monitor 32 inches. I just wish the nails were longer and guaranteed to hit the stud.
The security cable cracked me up 😂😂😂😂
😂
@@ALWAYSOCCUPIEDTV I’m glad I watched this video because I bought one like this from Amazon. The version I was going to buy didn’t have a Bar that connects to the tv. It was two hooks🥴. I didn’t buy it
Lol these products are scary
I love this video because you are as nervous as I am
😅
This helped us. Thanks
You're welcome!
Ty this is the exact kind I have I was so lost
No problem! Take care!
This was very helpful, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I know this was about 5 months ago but I was wondering If you had to worry about piping and electrical wiring before hammering the nails. I plan to buy this soon and don't feel like hiring an electrician but don't want to risk hitting a wire
I was the one that remodeled my basement. So I know where all the plumbing and electrical are located. In my opinion, the nails they provided are short, and I don't think they will do any damage to pipes or reach your electrical. But if you are not sure, you should hire someone. It's better to be SAFE don't hurt yourself. The best thing about this product is that it's easy.
Thank you!
How did you find the right screws for the back of the TV? Do they send a variety of screws to choose from or you have to buy it on your own?
It comes with the screws you need
Hello, This product comes with the screws
@ybteric6516 You are right!
Just bought this for my 46 inch TV. Am pretty scared to use it - not sure whether to send it back and get a normal one. THE FEAR!!! 😮
Hello Sarah
I can totally understand!!!!! This was one of my scariest reviews on the channel. My monitor is a 32-inch computer monitor, and it's light! I was still nervous! I would say bring a friend to help, and when putting the bracket up, make sure you split the stud so you can try to put a nail through to hit a stud. And if you are definitely unsure of this product, send it back. Safety first!
Install the safety cable to a stud separately so you'll have a pre drilled hole then drop it through the bracket, stack a box a trash can whatever will work against the wall to set the tv on and screw the cable down, it's hard to find help when you need it most.😮
Yes, You have to do what you can when you are a lone wolf. Take care!
A nail and a hammer in 2023 is crazy. This product is wild. "Oh, you don't want to find a stud and put 3 holes in your wall? Okay... just hammer 19 nails in your wall
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀 you do have a point!
Great vid!
Thanks!
Heyy! Is it still on ? Did it fall off and break? I’m thinking of getting one because I live in an apartment.
Hello, I did a one-year review, and this wall mount surprised me. It didn't fall or get loose. All you need is a leveler, a hammer, and maybe a friend to help you lift your TV. czcams.com/video/zVLAYphBye0/video.htmlsi=avX1hfM8twHUmD5K
I removed the mount because i put my monitor on a different mount for review czcams.com/video/-U-C742vgKA/video.htmlsi=CYRvxD3Fwi2lACj0
but this is one of my favorite mounts. I hope this helps, Take care!!!
I don't see any way that the security cable will save the tv. Even if it doesn't hit the floor. Wouldn't it hit the wall instead?
Yes, but it's more likely to be safer hitting the wall than landing on the floor.
The security cable is mainly used more so that no one can lift the tv off the bracket without removing the screw first. Kind of like how regular wall mounts have screws in the back to prevent you from lifting it off.
Just make sure the spot is exactly where you want it or you’ll have about 15 holes in your wall
Lol 😆 I wanted to move it the other day and I was thinking about how many holes I have to patch back up 😂. I think I put it too high. And I want it lower.
@@ALWAYSOCCUPIEDTV lol I only say that because I did it myself and had mad holes in my wall and I was like damnnnnn 😂
😂
Snag it..can’t use this..my tv’s are 75”…trying to find something like this…does anyone know of something similar

You're welcome!
How to take the wall mount off the wall?
I saw your comment and made a video on removal. czcams.com/video/-U-C742vgKA/video.html
I hope this helps.
I have used this on a smaller tv like 32 inches, I wouldn’t trust a bigger tv. This is easy and it holds,
I agree!!!! A bigger tv would make me loose sleep lol
This is awsome for people that lack power tools. Thanks!
Definitely need to bolt that to studs for safety.
Lol, I'm still surprised 😲 that it's still up in the studio. I thought it would have fallen by now because the nails they provided were short.
why is it bend downwards? can you tilt the angle for that?
That's the way it's designed. You can't adjust this type of tv mount.
That’s so you can see the tv . It’s supposed to tilt downwards
Thanks!
My tv bracket is not tight tight will that be a problem
Yes, that may be a problem. But you should be good if the TV is up and you don't touch it. The good thing about it is that it is stationary.
I would try those wall anchors screws that butterflies out behind the wall,so when the screws get saggy in the wall the butterfly clasp is opened behind wall and held tight, the screws cannot come back thru the wall ,it's not gonna fall ,because the clasp it fanned out gripping the screws..they won't slide out,the cost less than $10 but worth the peace of mind..the ones I used for a 110 lb weight limit for a 46 inch,it ain't going nowhere. When u take it down the screw will screws out,but and the clips falls between the wall they won't come bk thru...real reliable.
Is it still up? What size is tv
Yes lol. It’s a 32in Samsung computer monitor. It’s still up.
Good video man
But what’s with the pink hammer 😂
I like it 🤣 But if you want to see my alpha male hammers here is a few on this video on how to remove this mount czcams.com/video/-U-C742vgKA/video.htmlsi=jiiSQ-0TERSVyI2i 😂
Thanks for giving me a good laugh, Take care!!!
Just put mines up as I watched the video thank you
no problem!
Is it still up? Have any issues?
I had it up for a year before i took it back down to install a different mount. Everything held up well. czcams.com/video/zVLAYphBye0/video.htmlsi=Q3FdYE4lHrsV33Pm
Take care!
Any updates on the wall mount ? Still using it ? Did you move it ? Any problems ? Still nervous everytime you walk into the room ?
🤣😅 It's funny that you mention that I just did a one-year-later review and moved it from its location because I purchased a new monitor mount. The stainless drywall TV mount turned out to be better than I thought, and I stopped being nervous after a while. But when you remove it, you need to take your time so you don't put a hole in your wall because you need a hammer.
How do you remove it?
Hello, I'm sorry I didn't reply. I actually made a how to remove 4-5 month ago czcams.com/video/-U-C742vgKA/video.htmlsi=OLj_49PWZUMUiJs- I hope this helps. Thanks and Take care!!!
Can I use this on a brick wall?
The only way you can do that is to use your own screws and anchors. You will be better off using a different type of mount.
I’m just so scared to get this 😂😂
LOL, I don't blame you. I'm use to screws, studs and anchors. But its still standing! Well.... Hanging 😅
hahaha the security wire is to stop the tv from bouncing up and falling off in case some one hits the wall or tv lol its to keep it firmly seated in the bracket not catch it from falling lol how the hell did you misunderstand its purpose lol
😅 lol, It still survived. It's down now for relocation.
C. I put a two by four nailed I to that
How to find the stud?
LOL this product is design for drywall. If you want to frind the stud you will need a stud finder. Take care!
How do you take it down?
Sorry for the late reply. I saw your comment and decided to do a video on removing it since I am changing the product's location. Unfortunately, the video SD card has got corrupted, so I'm just going to tell you that you will need a hammer and patience because if you try to take this off with force, you will put a hole in your drywall if I get a chance I will try to put it back up and then take it down. And tag you in that video, but other than that, please be careful cause you can do damage to your wall on removal.
Is funny when Morgan Freeman looks at him🤣🤣
🤣
I see this video is 3 months ago is your TV still hanging on it or has it fallen down? I got one exactly like yours it was delivered yesterday I'm getting ready to hang it but would love to know what's going on with yours first because I have a 55 inch tv it doesn't weigh 100 lbs tho. If you could let me know soon about yours I'd be so thankful.
Hello 👋 mine is still in the same position since September or October, and it hasn't fallen yet. Make sure you have a friend with you! It's not easy to put up by yourself. Mine is a computer monitor @ 32inch so it's pretty light. Good luck with your diy!
Do you recommend it?
Hello friend, Yes, I recommend it for people who don't own a drill gun or stud finder. This thing held its own for a year.
I still can't believe nails and drywall held this up, LOL. I took it down because I tested another mount, but this mount is a sleeper. Take care
i don't trust it in my house, but we installed a dozen of these at work and they have held up 65" TVs for years
Lord I been watching all these but ur fear gave me faith off to try this
Thanks! LOL. I hope you accomplish the objective. Wishing you success
Bro 😂😂 how the hell tv mount stays if u dont hit nails on the stud. I don’t understand it man. Im so nervous for u bruhh😂😂
