They WILL fray but it depends on how hard you are on them. I have had the full set of Tombows for almost a year now and the only one I've destroyed is the black - which is the one I use all the time. :-)
Christie Logan For me, they didn't last too long. I've always had a light grip and everyone who uses my pens gets warned not to press down too hard. But my Tombow pens started to fray eventually. I figured it depends on the paper you write or paint on. The smoother, the better.
I generally practice on cardstock, but you can practice on whatever paper you have - note that the thinner the paper the more it might wrinkle with lots of ink laid down. 😃
Karen Gravatt It’s used to blend the colors together. These markers blend together fabulously!! There are some CZcams videos that have tutorials with these. You should check them out, the possibilities with these things are endless!
Yes I have ordered from Amazon. I was trying to figure out the craft store mentioned in this video. I think I found it and they are a little cheaper than Amazon. Thank you for the suggestion.
Michael’s does price matching with even Amazon.com. They were selling the Galaxy line for $27 and I bought the set yesterday at Michael’s for $12.99 as that is what it was going for on Amazon yesterday. You could really save a ton of money at Michael’s if you price-match everything before you get to the check-out counter.

Question: how well do these markers stand up to wear? Do the brush tips start to "fray" after a lot of use?
