At nearly 70 and about 57 years of climbing; I know that the joy is more in climbing than in sending, So glad to see you have learned that at a young age.
How do you stay healthy enough to climb at that age. Lemme be like you (serious)
@@bryanbryan6108 all my limitations are pretty much from injuries. The worst as far as restricting climbing is an Achilles tear was from a gopher hole/ ground squirrel complex collapsing underneath my feet as I coiled a rope.
Train hard; but not failure except on projects or a couple times of year testing.
Stop on a good performance of a climb or of a rep in a fitness gym. When a kid I heard an old spry black lady answer what her secret was: she replied; when I works; I works; when I rests; I rests.
Brilliant advice that climbers seldom follow.
Eat as healthy as you can afford. Climb with people younger and older than you; mentor some kids; they help keep you young.
Remember in life as on a serious climb; if the situation is dire enough; there is no need to worry.
As Churchill said: there is nothing more exhilarating than being short at; and missed. That is the attitude that keeps PTSD/ trauma at bay.
Hope you don't get shot/ hit hard by an accident. And if you do; remember climbing 5.4 in a cast is still more fun than watching TV.

My nurse mom taught me to pop those blood blisters with a hypodermic needle and to empty them out, then douse them in rubbing alcohol once in a while so they dry out. Works great 😊 just make sure to leave the outer skin attached, so it protects the bottom layer
