I was driving home from Houston listening to this game. Down 5 with about 40 seconds to go I pulled over to listen to the last few seconds of the game. Then IT HAPPENED!!! McGrady became unstoppable (13 points in 35 seconds) and brought Houston back to beat Spurs. One of my best memories!!!

As great as McGrady was, you still saw a lot of empty seats at his home games. The league as a whole scoring was down in that era so that probably factored into it. And he just didn't have the same charisma as some of the stars that came before him.
There was empty seats because the Rockets were getting blown out and everyone left early lmao. That’s why at the end Kerr said “all those people who left are driving home in their cars right now like ‘what were we thinking?’”
