Respect to fans who didn't leave, they got to witness a legendary performance.
I am One of them with my Classmates in my HighSchool days 😊
This reminds me of the 'unwritten rule' crap in the nba nowadays lol
And then there's the ones who did...😬🤫 Let's just not tell um
@@blvff999 The unwritten rule bullshit applies more to blowouts where its slightly more tolerable but yeah I totally agree. Teams that give up when they're down by less than 20 in the last few minutes of the fourth quarter will never be champions.

Who's here 2024 ?
Me this will never get old
Present
Me because today me and my aunt boyfriend son play NBA 2k23 and he had like 40 points ahead of me and I made the greatest comeback and then when I’m came on his level, he like 30 more points and then I made a comeback and he had 10 more points and I come back and the total points were Phoenix Suns 160 the Dallas Mavericks 154 and I fucking WON that shit I was so excited after that, bro I was just making fun of him after the whole day.
Greg Popovich must have unleashed a tirade for the ages after that game.
I don’t think this will ever happen again. Simply legendary.
It felt like a "Double Reggie Miller vs the Knicks" moment, haha
You're right. It will never ever ever ever happen again.
Yes Indeed 💯 Agreed. In my opinion Tmac is Definitely one of the all time Greatest Players in NBA History🏀🏀🏀
Totally agree. But it might change the mind of all the players that you always have the chance to come back even being down 10 points with a minute left. Never give up.
Luke Kennard and Zach Lavine did similar, but TMac still did better😂
Bro made 4 three pointers, one free throw all within 30 seconds as his team was down by 10. This is one of those unforgettable performances
Yes it is legendary and this is why people shouldn't leave the building before the game is over. But it is also not 33 seconds with all the delays inbounds, fouls etc. It's not like flash or speedy gonzales went into cartoon mode. Again, it was amazing. Steph Curry would pull it off also lol.
Forgot to mention, one score was a four point play. Legendary performance. Devin Brown lost tf out of that game. Dude just had to stand still and hug the ball lmao. He redeemed himself in ‘05.
There’s a reason this moment is still considered one one of the craziest comebacks to ever happen in the NBA.
Considering that this is the San Antonio Spurs, the best defensive team in the NBA, this has to be arguably one of the greatest NBA basketball moments of all time. To be down 10 points with a minute left in the game, and to win it like that is remarkable...magical...simply amazing.
i'm just surprised bowen didn't literally cut tmac's achilles
Pistons were the best defensive team at this time. Spurs were the year before in 2002-2003 series.
@lilprince this was in 2004-05 season,not 2003-04.
Norton SRB read my comment again. I don't need correction. Who did I say were the best defensive team at THIS time???
LilPrince Killa that's like saying the lakers are a great defensive team, right now they're shit
Deven Brown’s face at the end of the game!! hahaha!
Nayrb Anissem 😂😂😂😂

Rings:
Brown - 1
McGrady - 0
But yeah, what a moment for McGrady.
@@DCee15Bruh u wanna compare the money/respect that Tmac has vs Brown??? Lmfao 💯💯💯🤣🤣🤣
Imagine all the fans that left early. I would of been pissed not witnessing that legendary performance.
Thats why you never leave the game no matter what that shit expensive smh
Fans who leave any sporting event early are just generic pieces of society
My brother and uncle were at this game … and heard the comeback on the radio on the ride home
@@johnmeeks8257 that’s tough
Butterfly effect
Someone needs to find Popovich's post game interview.
I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his rage in the locker room
@@dachicagoan8185 hahaha the funny part is it wasn’t even their fault he was making ridiculously tough shots. Fully contested and everything 😅
Didn't even shake van gundy's hand lol
Tracey McGrady will be a legend forever for this game.
T-Mac became the basketball god for 35 seconds
when you're down by 9 in a game 7 on your 2K and you went to your game sliders.
This game is just immortalised in every NBA fan's heart.
It's just a regular season game but man these are the games people will remember forever 💯
You’d think this was a conference finals with the performance he put up.
14:34 lil homie getting down
LMFAO I'M DYING THANK YOU SO MUCH
This is what made me a Tracy McGrady fan for life. One of the best ever.
not really! aim higher lmao
@@intotheabyss42478 ?
@@intotheabyss42478putang ina mo!
@@intotheabyss42478he was though. Injuries happen. In a hypothetical world rid of injuries tmac would’ve been one of the best ever.
There’s a reason he is the only person Kobe would work out with
I remember watching this game when I was 15. Greatest game I've ever seen in my life still to this day, I remember turning the channel to watch some cartoons and kept flicking back and fourth because something told me just to watch til the end. Surprisingly, I saw T-Mac bring the Rockets back and I admired T-Mac for this performance since. I wish I could meet him to just thank him for what contribution to the NBA he's given. Even though he's never worn any rings I would like to just let him know he was greatly appreciated.
Narakou Rockets now have James Harden , Eric Gordon , Ryan Anderson, Clint Capela , Nene , Patrick Beverly, Trevor Ariza, Sam Dekker, Troy Williams,
Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams, Bobby Brown, Chinanu Onuaku, Kyle Wiltjer , and Isaiah Taylor.
Kevin Chris Paul
But still this is the best team Rocket than today
@@theprodigyhq9871 hes always injured soo he dont count lol
This game was garbage til the last minute 😂
I'm a lifelong Spurs fan and I still say this was just awesome to watch. I didn't want it to happen, but as it was happening I knew I was looking at something historic. Later met TMac in an airport and got to tell him that to his face. He was incredibly kind and patient. A true gent. Much respect for his game and the man himself.
12:08 10 years later, I still remember this face, LOL. And Craig Sager, RIP
Who's here when Steve Kerr was a head coach of the Golden State Warriors in 2015?
Who's here when Marv Albert announce his retirement in 2021?
Rest in Peace (RIP) Craig Seger 🙏 😢 💔
I would have loved to watch Inside the NBA after this game
No you wouldn't. Trust me. You wouldn't.
He had them 2k game sliders on
Ethan Perez down by 15 with 3 min left put that 3pt slider all the way up lol
Till this day I still get goose bumps watching it...
Don't forget, this Spurs team went on to win the Finals that season, AND they were the best defensive team in the league, making what T-Mac did even more impressive.
They lost to the Lakers in the Wcf but won the crown the following year.
Fake news
TBH Devin brown was found guilty for betting against the Spurs this game 😂😂😂
@@restymervinponio192 December 2004, so this was the 2004-2005 season, which is correct.

I swear to God people, forget real good about how great Tracy McGrady was without the injuries in his prime Tracy McGrady was him. This man will cook in the NBA today.
This is the best sequence of basketball. Hands down. I still get chills when I watch this.
One of the best moments in NBA history unexpected 😂
I’ve always been a die hard Tracy mcgrady fan, so to actually watch this game live was so lit
The most amazing sequence of a single playing doing whatever it takes to win. Absolutely incredible
It's like they waited until the last minute to unleash their secret weapon #TMAC da 🐐 🙌🏿
never get tired of watching this
The most remarkable part of the video is the 73-64 score late in the 4th quarter. Those are halftime scores now
defensive games back then didn't seem out of the norm though, it was known San Antonio won championships by playing tough defense
the current reigning champions when this game was played was the Pistons (who were a defensive team)
The Spurs would win the championship this year, and it was their 3rd championship in 7 years.
The Rockets from what I remembered tended to prefer a slower pace to take advantage of having a player like Yao Ming on their team, and using him as a defensive anchor. When I looked it up, it said they allowed the 3rd least amount of opponents points scored against them at 91 ppg.
Team doesn't play defense like it used to be
73-64 with a minute to go in the fourth. Back when defense was played!
One of the greatest moments in NBA BASKETBALL ! We still haven’t seen anything like this yet since .
Everytime I watch evertime, for the last 19 years, everytime I get chills..
I've been watching the NBA since the late 70s early 80s and as far as the last minute of a game with one guy totally taking over and dominating, this is my favorite highlight ever.
After the decisive three-pointer, i can imagine the faces of the fans and their bewilderment when they left the stands. Then they realized what emotions they were deprived of.
At that moment it hit: "Wow, I'm a fairweather fan".
What an amazing game 🎉 t-mac one of the best shooters in nba history.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Pop so speechless like that at 14:08..he couldn’t even yell he was so shocked at that greatness he just witnessed
Looking like... I could have had that power.
This pops up on my page every so often and I watch it every single time. McGrady was smooth
No doubt the last minute is one of the NBA best all time. What's even remarkable about Houston's comeback is the Spurs made all the free throws in the final minute.
That's the most unreal finish I've ever seen to any sports game..
Damn! So only a few people have witnessed the greatest comeback ever.
Not even Jordan was able to do this. 4 unbelievable threes one after another all clutch. Incredible. Tmac 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
What do you mean Not even Jordan, he didn’t have the opportunity you amateur.
comparing ONE game to an entire career is crazy
14:34 Buddy was getting it lmao he was happy af to be a Rockets fan that night 😂😂😂
NBA players were so much more likeable and humble back then.
T-Mac gave us some good years... Truly great moments have been far an in between as a life long rockets fan but this was definitely one of them...
it would of bee nice to see him and yao get a ring
@@vincenthammons-kd9duTmac & Yao was supposed to be the 2nd 1-2 punch of Shag & KB but it was never meant to be due to injuries. When Shag & KB broke up? I legit thought my nig Tmac was supposed to takeover with his teammate/Robin in Yao smh. Tmac was my fav plyr growing up too & all of homies was KB lol
T mac scored 13 pts in 33 seconds..thats unbreakable record💯
He may not have won a ring but he sure solidified himself as one of the best scorers in basketball
I was watching the game with my brother that time, we simply could not believe what our eyes were seeing. This guy was insane, he was just crazy.
A lot of people just weren’t fortunate to see tmac and see that he was that dude. His 02-03 season averaging 32 with Orlando was insane. Only time I ever wore adidas growing up was because of this man. Him and AI were my favorite players not in a mavericks jersey.
The moment legend shines. Magical.
For people wondering why teams foul at the end of the game when they are down by 10 points, this is the game they are thinking about… even though it’s basically never happened after or since.
One of the best offensive sequences of all-time being scored against one of the best defenses of all-time.
One of the best or probably the greatest comeback in basketball history. I remember watching this live and just can't believe it.
What a game!!!!❤..under 2 en a half minutes ,some of the Rockets fans was leaving 1 x1, and they think that rockets no chance to win the game,..but still some other fans stayed and witness how Tmac's showed his best performance to upset the spurs!!!..it's miracle..🎉
This shit is worth watching at least 1 or twice throughout the Year every Year, shit is so Iconic!
Those people that stayed were blessed with a very memorable game that they get to keep with them for a very very long time 😊
The greatest sequence of basketball I've seen in my life.
One of the greatest moments in sports history from one of the greatest basketball player of all time. Period
One of the best Moment in NBA! LEGENDARY!!!
feel bad for those audiences who left the building early lmao, missed one of the greatest moment of NBA history
Anyone else first saw this on NBA 2003 game when this was one of main videos of the game ?!?! LEGENDARY!
I thought it was fake but it's really happened.
1:17 that moment T Mac knew he had to do it...
I used to live in the same area as TMac. T-mac, Grant Hill, Monty Williams and Mike Miller would train at the complex I lived in. Usually Grant Hill and Monty Williams would train together. This was in the prime of TMacs career and one of the most famous NBA players in the world. You would never know it, after (or before) he would train, he would stand around and talk to everyone like a regular person. Although comes off cocky on the court, he was really polite to everyone that approached him.
This was a great moment! Every time I'm watching a basketball game and the team I'm rooting for is down at the end of the game, I never lose hope because I remind myself of this spectacular moment. It's awesome that this video is on CZcams. Thanks for putting this video up!
Go Rockets!
Right. I always think of this moment as hope. And wow this comment is 11 years old
I never watched the non highlight version… the spurs actually made their free throws, and they still came back
Anyone who leaves the game before the 4th quarter buzzer sounds is not a true fan.
Unless it's something personal
Mike this reminds me of the texans game agaisnt the colts earlier this yr
False,
The sound quality, and the way the commentator speaks, make it sound like a classic. Oh wait, it is.
First time I saw this I was amazed...
This is probably the 30th time and I'm more amazed everytime.
When I first seen the title I remember thinking it was just clickbait. Helluva performance
11:51 I love how quiet it gets while the ball's in the air
I’m still amazed back then games were so low scoring!
They dropping confetti like it was a playoff game lol no way
Anytime I am down in 2K by 10 or less I think about this moment
2024,, still very legendary, the defense during this era was tough
Devin Brown was never heard from ...again 😂😂😂
Except for the foul by Timmy and the late turnover, SA did everything else right. McGrady just caught fire. The Rockets scored 17 points in 52 seconds 🤯
What's even crazier is the fact that they had 64 prior to that the whole game
This is the performance that got TMac n2 the HoF!
I was watching this live on TV years ago. And it stunned me! TMAC is my fave of all time
All hard shots from three.... Damn tmac damn
Hes a legend
It’s also crazy how Spurs may have as a franchise been part of some of the most gut wrenching losses in mba history.
Man ball association
lol pop walkin off like "gg"
Brown was like "are you shitting me"
this was just one of those once in a lifetime moments
Incridible Tmac is so amazig he is a legend
As a Spurs fan I gotta admit this was pretty amazing I've always had love for T-Mac
Really glad that I stayed until the very last minute, I felt that this happed yesterday!
2023 still watching this many times❤️🔥
When you feel it, you feel it.
Solid BEST WINNING SHOT IN THE NBA HISTORY
San Antonio was a title team THAT season. Just insane Tmac pulled this off.
For the record i´m watching this in march 03-2023 and i stil love the T Mac reactions just priceless
Its because of this game that teams never stop playing until the buzzer today
I was a little kid when this happened, i didn’t see it but all my friends were talking about it, put some respect on tmacs name, needs to be top 75
Reminds me 2004 Olympics, the first match between the USA and Lithuania, when in the 4th quarter Jasikevičius was able to score 10 in quick succession, leading team to victory. Three-pointer with a foul looked especially similar. This show Tracy put on is also extremely impressive.
im so glad this was on TNT and I got to watch it live
in basketball years 35 is old. further exacerbating this is the fact that mcgrady's body is older than he is. you see this with almost all of the star players who were drafted out of high school and had to play 35 mpg every night while maintaining star level productivity. everyone's body reacts differently to different things, mcgrady's case has been his knee but mostly his back. i'm not sure if you've never had chronic back injuries, but they are not a joke and the pain can be so crippling as to render a person non-ambulatory. there are many examples of this, some more tragic than others like grant hill, who was by all appearances going to take the torch from jordan, but didn't because the man's ankles are made of porcelain, thus opening the door for kobe to step in and take Hill's spot as top dog, which he did. this is how we got the kobe-shaq lakers dynasty. or more recently brandon roy, who had the game to be a star player but not the body. then you have guys like lebron james who seemingly never get injured, partially because he goes to great lengths to monitor his physical fitness and nutrition, partially because the guy won the genetic lottery. some have bodies that can endure the punishment of an 82 game season (more if they are still playing in march, which mcgrady usually was), and others do not. that's just how it goes.
I remember this game. I was in 7th grade and I figured they were going to lose so I went to sleep. I was shocked to hear they won in the morning 😂
Still so humble it’s crazy
im a spurs fan and i remember watching this live on TV, and yes i cheered when T-Mac hit that last shot
funny this video got recommended to me today. 1 minute to go, Rockets down 10, never gave up, came back to win it. Yesterday, Lakers down 10 with 1 minute to go, but the coach emptied the bench, and Nuggets won. The only thing that remained the same was the fans leaving the court early, giving up on their team.
The best comeback ever of all time
