My Big Shot Pulse arrived a few day ago....you showed me just what I needed...did I understood you right that the Bigz pad was included in the kit ? My pad is 9 x 6...AM I MISSING SOMETHING ???

@@jmschillinger5 Yes I did, but it only came with the smaller one....some say you can't use the Bigz pad with the big shot pulse....I have been taking it slow but I have made a couple of cards...need to learn how to do more..Looking at two many video's can be confusing, some show the dye cut side up others show it cut side down, on top of paper.. Thank you so very much for caring and answering my note..

Looks great but maybe the Cricut Maker is faster. Do you think there's a difference in the outcome of projects between the manual and electronic die cutting machines?
Hi, it depends, I fill big shop is more oriented to cardmaker, because it's going to save you a lot of time. The outcome is pretty similar.

Good evening! I just got the Big Shot Plus Machine, but it only came with the sandwich boards! I had a few embossing folders from My Cuddlebug machine. But I didn’t get the starter kit! Who do I check with about that! I need the dies and the black black sponge cutter! Hope to hear back from you! I ordered from Amazon!

uh? It's a manual machine.
Riza Marfil the BSP is strictly manual, it doesn’t have any electrical components, however, Sizzix does have an electric die cutting machine, I believe it’s called the Express and is pretty much the same machine as the Tim Holtz Vagabond Die Cutting Machine (I believe Sizzix makes both machines), but the Express cuts at a smaller size versus the BSPlus. There’s also one other Big Shot Machine, the Pro series, and it’s the biggest machine, can cut much bigger than all the other models can but it’s also much more expensive.

I just received the machinę as Christmas gift. When I trzy to put it through I really have to push hard to make it go in. Sometimes it doesn’t go through. Is this normal? When I manage to put it through the handle just stops and I cannot turn it. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s new or I should contact the seller and claim on warranty
It's because is new. I remember the first time I used it, I thought I was breaking it.

Hi Avanti, You were nice enough to answer my last question, so I was wondering if you could possibly give a hint on what I am doing wrong with brand new Big Shot Plus. I did my sandwich with adapter A and a thinlit did just the way you show, however the sandwich assembly will not go through the machine, in fact I can't even start it through. It's as if the sandwich is too thick, and I don't want to force it. Is there something wrong with the machine? I hope not as I was so excited about using it.
I have the same problem the first time, but in the end, I forced it, I started to roll it and I heard a cracking noise, I was pretty sure I broke it, I also remember seeing the mark of the thin lit on the clear mat and I thought I just ruined it, but this is completely normal. You'll get used to the craking noise, but the first ones are a little intimidated.

There seems to be a block or something like the sandwich and the base platform are too thick, for it even to begin going through. I have contacted support at Sizixx. It sure is disappointing, @@AvantiMorocha1

Sorry, I disagree, I have just purchased this item and it does not come with an embossing folder. I got mine online in the UK and this was not on the description nor is it mentioned on the box. Just saying.

As an update. I kept playing around with it, and found that the bottom cutting pad has to extend out a little further from the top cutting pad. When I did that, I could get the sandwich to go through the machine. Does everyone have to do that, or is it that my Big Shot is a bit quirky?.. LOL
I don't remember what exactly I did, but I know I struggled the first time to try to pass the sandwich.

There wasn’t an embossing folder with mine, just the dies, card stock, bigs die, and some fabric.
Can thinlits cut vinyl cricut permanent vinyl?
I wouldn't use Sizzix to cut vinyl, because it will cut it all the way and the backing shouldn't be cut.

Me encanta hacer las cosas con mis manos, usando la big shot, que es una SUPER HERRAMIENTA. Nada electronico, me parece que se pierde el encanto e implica muchisimo mas trabajo que si lo corto con la big shot, ademas no se requiere energia ni computador ni comprar files SVG. Con la big shot todo depende de tu creatividad y hay troqueles para todos los gustos. Usar la big shot es un desafio a mi creatividad, es mi herramienta estrella.
