Responsible gun owners do not flaunt their weapons like they are decorations, toys, props, or fashion accessories. They never let children use guns in casual environments, or in a casual way. A responsible gun owner wouldn't boast about their home arsenal. Respectable firearm owners would never take holiday family photos with their children holding assault weapons. We have the luxury of living in a "free" country. But, just because you're free to do something... doesn't mean it's right, or respectable.

I'm a progressive and I grew up shooting, I've taught my sons proper gun safety, I own a gun (just one and I seldom use it), and I was licensed to carry in NY before moving to TX. I'm not anti-gun, but if you own or operate one, you need to be responsible.
