The NEW EPCOT is Open! CommuniCore Hall Opening Day | Festival Favorites Food & Portraits of Courage

- We visited Epcot yesterday June 10th for the opening day of CommuniCore Hall and the Meet Mickey & Friends Disney character meet and greet experience. Many are calling this the new Epcot and it definitely marks a new era for the park. It is nice having all those construction walls down and having the park feel open once again. We first checked out the new stage show which is currently featuring a new Encanto show called ¡Celebración Encanto! We went inside of CommuniCore Hall which is a nice space to sit in the air-conditioning and relax. We would love to see a few more Epcot touches get added to this space in the future. We took a walk into World Showcase because we were excited to see the new exhibit in the America Adventure pavilion, Portraits of Courage - paintings of our nations heros by president George W. Bush. We wanted to ride Test Track but it was down so we headed back to the Communicore hall area to try new food from the Festival Favorites window which we found out will rotate and feature new festival favorite items based off the theme of the show. Currently this food location features festival favorites from the Encanto booth. We tried the coconut tres leches and it was incredible!

It is my dream to one day visited all the international Disney Parks as well! My travel interests also go beyond the Disney Parks, I love vlogging my cruise vacations and trips to all-inclusive resorts!
I am from Pennsylvania and grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. My dream is to soon relocate to the Orlando area and live near Disney!

So much open space and not shaded. I hope they utilize it for festivals and events. I saw someone else’s blog where they said the inside has windows that open so food can be served for different events and open kitchen.
I cant believe it has taken so long to build that and it doesn't really bring any thing new to the park. who idea was it to build a out side show area with out any shade?
How come the entire magic kingdom was built in 4 years but it now takes forever for them to build these spaces and attractions? Love your enthusiasm!

You picked a nice sunny day with no rain! I bet they might use that stage for shows to promote future movie releases. Thanks for showing the paintings too. I haven't seen any other videos of them online yet.
Great to see that area open. Encanto show was fun. Hercules would be great for the next show! The Muses could be the storytellers and 'Go the Distance' of course! Mediterranean food from the Festival Favorites

everything looks great but communicore hall has no theme inside and the setting needs to change
So there's nothing to CommuniCore but a place to relax & to meet Mickey & Minnie. They really need to update Spaceship Earth like they said that they were going to do its gross lol
Its a flex space that willl change every festival
to me acrobatic dances is not that great
