    Can't believe Shaw missed that last ball like that. Shows you even the pros sometimes miss the easier ones.

      They missed difficult ball like we do, its just they manage position of cueball very well to avoid missing.

    Danny is a terrible commentator; nearly everything he says is wrong. "The five didn't get past the headstring, it's not going to be a legal break." The five is about a foot past the headstring. Unbelievable. The other guy, by the way, nearly always knows what he's talking about, and doesn't proclaim anything until he's sure of what he's saying, unlike Danny.

      Danny is a great Commentator perhaps in the top 5 of all time !

      Except he is one of the best American athletes of the 20th century and he can sit there and say whatever he pleases because he has earned the right.

    Might be time for Danny to retire from pool announcing. Shaw played a safety on the 3 ball, and Mark says he needs to get it past the side pocket, so Danny says he did. And he was wrong, it did not get past the side pocket, then Chang jumped it in the side and ran out. After making the 3 ball Chang ran into the 5 ball, and Danny says he has no shot, even though he had a perfect and simple back cut in the corner to go 2 rails for the 6 ball.

    Good grief. One of the most thrilling matches ever and all people can mention is the commentator?
    That was some fantastic shooting by both, and great to see Chang show some personality.

    Cuando Shaw fue al baño empezó a jugar excelente, le sobraba o le faltaba algo..

    Shaw is one of the very few players I've seen breaking with an open bridge. Chang is so good I wonder why he hasn't won a major championship yet, although he's nearly always in the hunt. He's one of the most consistent players I've seen, no weaknesses that I can find.

    • @paulpickering2603
      @paulpickering2603 Před 4 lety +1

      Chang's fundamentals are nearly flawless.

      Chang did win the 2018 U.S. International 9-Ball Open. $40K prize so you could probably consider it a major at this point. He also has had a bunch of 2nd place finishes in majors. 2nd in China Open, 2nd here in the U.S. Open, 2nd in the World 9-Ball.

      Most Taiwanese or Chinese players have trouble with English/communication, if they spend more time in the US they would dominate. Look at the wasted talent of the great Wu Jia Qing, he couldve been the greatest pool player in history, yet both his skill and achievement were stagnant since the age of 20. They all have similar characteristic: consistency.

    Maybe in his day the older commentator may have been great but... he really needs to not open his mouth and say the wrong thing only to retract what he was saying. Just stay quiet until confirmed or retire from doing this. Thanks for the upload.

    At 1:46:25 , Jayson wouldn't have missed the 3 ball if he didn't put a left english just to have a good angle for the next 5 ball. . Very exciting game.

    • @lazarnovovic5416
      @lazarnovovic5416 Před 3 lety

      he puted low right and aimed towards right side of the cue ball so the english grabs and go to left, but he's aim was litlle bit off. Still verry good game
