I was also planning a similar trip with my family which consists of a kid too and your tips are very helpful for the planning. Would like to know how you got to cook rice, Dal and oats in a microwave. Did you carry the electric cooker also with you while traveling?

Thank you,in microwave i cooked maggie,oat upma and reheat packed vegitable otherwise some mivrowaves has option for rice cooking ,we took kitchen apartment in italy in many places so it was very easy for us

Thanks ,we did all our booking from Air bnb after reading all review about apartment and we had good exp ,if you are travelling with kids Apartments are more comfortable than hotel .and plz carry stroller it would be helpful and be aware from pick pocketers ,have a nice trip.

How to pack thepla or paratha

neha'sCreativity- Indian CZcamsr but can u advise best way to pack? I am making about 50 to send. Will cook then let it sit to cool and vacuum pack (this may make the theplas hard and not fluffy, but this at least assures me that it won’t spoil as fast while in transit 2-3 days). Because so many, I am making it 2 days before I drop in courier to send. I will be putting the vacuum packed theplas before I pack and send, in fridge, right? Or do you think better to vacuum pack and leave in room temp, or put in freezer to store until ship? Someone told me not to freeze as temp will be too much change and it will not be good for theplas to thaw while in transit. Kindly tell me your experience and thoughts. Thank you

You can but no need to bring any oil because you can all types of oil here ,if you want you can bring ghee from India

You can bring 1 kg pack ,wrap it in 4 to 5 poly bag and seel every bag with stapler and keep that bag in freezer take out 1 or 2 hr before leaving the home and keep in check in bag.
