Traveling to India as a vegetarian is a dream I swear! So many healthy protein dense veggie dishes over there, I wish options like that were more available in the US.

I have been researching a lot on this topic and a few years ago I bought a dehydrator. I make my dahl chawal, mix it like I am going to eat it, and dehydrate it in my dehydrator. after about 10 hours you get them all dry and brittle, like your Wadi, save it in ziplock bag and put it in fridge or outside. They easily stay for over 6 months. While travelling I add hot water and my dry food, instantly I time travel back to the day I made that food. Smells and tastes exactly the same. I carried these dry foods to 10 day travel to Europe and Japan. Protein is essential, dosa, upma thepla doesn't cover it.

SHWETA again & again I promise you, Your diction is perfect.
Language needs clarity 1st, then comes pronunciation which each region or changed it to their own style.
For example British, American & Australian varies.
Then diction + slang varies between New York - New York & California , or Texas or Missouri ?????
So learn the language & speak with absolute clarity & basic pronunciation prescribed in Oxford Dictionary.
For example for Americans in pronunciation of the word can & can't, it sounds the same. ????? True. Personal experience in living in New York/ New York, St. Louis MO, & Los Angeles.
A Language is an expression of sound & its words should have perfect clarity.
This is to make you understand that your pronunciation & diction are good.
If you adopt an American or British slang in my view you will loose clarity of words & one has to keep telling you "come again" many a time.
You are doing very good dude keep going 😄☺☺❤☺☺☺

It is not enough you just say I am a vegetarian in places like America. You have to say no meat, no fish, no eggs if you have to eat only Vegetarian food.
Even if you may be an eggetarian, unless it is boiled egg, they sometimes tend to use fattening substances like lad or similar non vegetarian fattening substances.
But today 1 word is very very popular called Vegan. Vegetarians get 100% pure Veg. The snag you dont get even diary products including milk. But you can get healthy substitute like almond milk, Cahew milk, Peanut milk & butter & Coconut milk
Thanks for the good opportunity to share with Shweta & Subscribers who are Vegetarians.

Most soups in the west or Asia have chicken broth in them. Check with your server if broth is water/vegetables or chicken/beef based. Most McDonald’s in Europe carry veggie burgers at least in Germany from my experience. Asian or Thai places can make you fried rice or noodles without eggs and fish sauce if you ask them to. Tortillas, refried beans, and baked beans may contain lard so better to clarify that as well. I can keep going lol..

The whole world isn't to carry regional food just because of a certain cuisine favorite. Most countries have plenty of vegetarian options as well. Who is going to have time to carry so much food that makes the weight of the luggage or carry on increase. So this is not a practical option. Just a few things sure .....but not more than that.

*Veg food. Vegetarian is a person who doesn't eat meat. Vegetarian food is grammatically incorrect. Hope it helps.
