“Easier if we lived together”... girl I feel you. I’ve been dating my bf for 7 years. Both currently still in university. I’m completely the toughest year of my degree and he’s working on his thesis, so time together is becoming rare.

when feeling overwhelmed there is no harm in taking a personal time out and just taking a break from it all. Focus your energy into making yourself right and better. As much as you and Ryan enjoy making videos for all your followers. Taking personal time out too be happy and healthy is a priority.
I like how you don’t leave out how you guys have your argument/fight moments in your relationship, it’s a topic that’s so rarely talked about on CZcams with couples. It helps me out a lot in my relationship and is very relatable so thank you!

I can totally relate, Ellen! When my husband and I were dating and engaged, I struggled with so much anxiety and depression. I had work and school all day and so did he. I would just cry every day I didn't get to see him and it was really hard for us. We just got married last march and I just graduated this december. Things are good now, but I will never forget how hard that was. I struggled with dealing with the stress as well, now, I see him at least every night even on our busiest days. And when you two get your house, you'll do the same! This is just a hard season of life for everyone but you will get through it!! :) love you guys!

Getting enough protein was a hard one for me to learn. I had a major sweet tooth when I didn’t get enough. I had to eat a lot more beans. You’ll figure it out Ryan. The first few months are the hardest. It gets better!

this is like months later, but can you share how the heck you manage school, work, youtube, relationships, mastering ASL and stress?! lol I work full time, also am in school full time, in a relationship, stressed to the max constantly and trying to learn ASL as well as start a youtube about me and my boyfriend working on our cars. It is tough lol.. but you both are so chill and stuff so I need advice! lol

I liked the part when you were sitting at the table together and having a regular conversation about food. I could learn the signs for how to talk about food this way. The beginning of this video made me feel like there's no privacy between you two. I have old friend from elementary though high school he had hearing ex-girlfriend and he deaf but she was having very difficult understand the conversation with him but they both are no longer relationships its was over .
Relationships takes allot of work. If you dont have time you gotta make time.
I'm interested as to how people learn to drive manual cars in Amercia. Here in England, stopping and starting again on a hill (called a "hill start") is a thing that every driving instructor will teach and can even come up in your driving test

I have a similar problem with my Firefly handbike. Whenever I stop on a slope, I need to make sure that I don't have to hold the brake to prevent rolling back. If I don't, I'll have a hard time resuming. It's because, even if my handbike is set to go forward if it rolls back and I accelerate, it will go backwards. Now, it's second nature for me to stop so I don't need to keep holding the brake.

I have considered going vegetarian. What is a healthy alternative to meats? Im kind of picky when it comes to fish and eggplant and such

I go vegetarian like three months a year, but even so, I don't eat much as it is pretty expensive and I'm a broke student.
Ellen, why don't you vlog like once or twice a week and all the other time you try to catch up with Ryan and have some you-time.
idk what it’s like in America but here in Australia you save so much money by not eating meat, especially if you eat out a lot..veggie meals tend to be a lot cheaper here 😂
In America veggies cost more due to the fact that they don’t last as long. One pound of beef can be cheaper than a small bag of carrots.

Love you guys. I am not deaf, but I have to read lips a lot to get by in life. Anyway, when I went vegan, i cut out bread and dairy first, and kept light meat and fish. I learned how to eat complete amino acids first from legumes and grains, and to a certain extent nuts. It is much easier to go vegan if you cut sugar first, with the support of using light meats (such as fish, turkey and chicken) to get enough protein, which helps to get over the sugar cravings.
At the time that I did this (and did it correctly) I was an athlete, and my performance and energy increased dramatically. That is how you know that you are doing it right. The cravings come from getting the sugar out of your body.
