Stats, games played, minutes played, rings won, position...to many variables. Who is the better player? Watch the highlights on both and see who you'd rather watch. LeBron is a beast obviously very exciting to watch, but if I have to pay money, I'm going to see MJ. MJ was doing stuff that is just unmatched. Never seen a human play with the level of finess Mike played with to this day. It was not earthly the things he was doing on the floor. LeBron don't have that style of play, like watching a ballerina vs. a linebacker.

I break down there greatness like this Michael is the greatest individual player of all time. And lebron is the greatest all around player of all time. @Brad B ok first off stop with this average 3 point shooter during his era to make it seem like Jordan is close to as good of a three point shooter as LeBron. He’s not even close to the best post scorer during his time, please have David Robinson or any big guard him in the post. Shaq and even Magic was arguably a better finisher than him. He was the best mid-range shooter and a great defender and more consistent on that end. But LeBron is a way more impactful player on the court (literal fact). MJ averaged 20 at 40 but LeBron averaged 30 at 38 while doing more in terms of rebounding and passing( his defense was sus this year most def). Last paragraph is just clumped and I don’t know what to even say about it but I do believe Jordan is a little more clutch but LeBron is much better than him overall at everything else when you factor in the harder era and that LeBron had competition at his position unlike Jordan( like Dumars and drexler were the competition). Peak to Peak, LeBron is better at just about everything other than mid-range shooting and clutch( whatever classifies a moment as clutch). LeBron has a better peak, more impact( on court), and more consistent/longevity

Magic, how is Lebron dominating in this era when he is getting dominated by his contemporaries time and time again. And I do not agree with him being the best all-around player. That would be MJ too.
And then Shaq, how many people had more career points than MJ? And were they considered better? NO, so that argument is weak. That is just another case of moving the goal post for his legacy.
Bill Laimbeer, you said Lebron came into the league and his team was winning. What year are you talking about? Because people are always giving MJ a hard time about getting swept in the playoffs when he first came into the league, but the REAL TRUTH is Lebron didn't even make the playoffs until his 3RD YEAR. So how is that coming into the league and your team is winning? That actually applies to MJ. He came in and took his team to the playoffs and improved their record. And NEVER MISSED A PLAYOFF until after he went to the WIzards where he had very little, and ZERO Hall of Famers. Yet Lebron has 4 other HOF's, All-Stars, former champs, on his team and couldn't make the play-in. And that right there speaks volumes to alot of things that people say about him. Leadership, High IQ, making his teammates better. After last season, all of these things should be questioned.

He got double the assists of MJ with a better assist to turnover ratio. His longevity is a factor too. He's 52k minutes into his career and look how he played. I disagree with Lebron being the best all-around player. No, statistics, average statistics, not longevity. MJ is a better scorer, better defender. Lebron is a better rebounder, and has more assists on average. And you noticed how I did not say a better passer. Because he is not a better passer than MJ, he just passes more. He has more turnovers too on average when passing. And MJ was not as big, but was just as strong. So that size means nothing, especial when MJ has seen players his size and has dominated them.

LeBron has always been asked to do more than just score, he’s alway been asked to go get 27 points, 8 rebounds and get his teammates in the game with 6,7,8 assists. LeBron carried more bum ass teams to the finals than MJ ever could, hence why MJ only went to finals once he had Phil Jackson as a coach and Scottie Pippen to bail him out.
