Mathmatically speaking, this is the most complicated scramble that is possible. You cannot get any further from being solved then the superflip.
At least on the 3x3.
No unless you do the checkerboard pattern algorithm on it

I do something slightly differently. I do M', U' 4 times. Then U', and then M', U' 4 times. That flips just 2 edges. Then do that 6 times. Either way, it's addicting. Flipping 4 edges at a time is just flicking U' twice instead of one extra time. On 5x5, I just do the same thing, but just with the 2nd and 4th edges. I actually figured it out just playing around.

I used to solve my Gigaminx into a superflipped state. It took me an hour every time because the Gigaminx was one of my newest puzzles back then. Now I know that there's a way better way of doing that and that my way was a waste of time.

That was the exact same for me, I used to solve my megaminx into a superflipped pattern and when I got my gigaminx I just went for it and it was glorious

I like to display cubes in the superflip pattern, and with square 1, because it is obviously impossible, I like to do Z-Z then N-N then correct the bar flip then do checkerboard

I just recently did this on my 17x17, took less time than I thought it would. I suspect practicing it on my 11x11 helped quite a bit, I also do it on my 3x3 just as a way to fidget with my cube with one hand cause I can’t do R U R’ U’ with one hand smoothly yet
How hard it would have been to do so many moves on a 17x17!😮
It’s a bit more difficult, only because I had to keep count of all the layers so I didn’t make a mistake

Still trying to get used to doing things on the top instead of the bottom which is how I learned in the 80's. So, on one side it rotates the opposite edges front & back and on the opposite face it rotates two adjacent edges towards the back.

what will a super flip look like on a 6x6?
Can I do this on a 4×4 cube
the super flip permutes all moving pieces in two cycles. Thus doing it twice restores the cube. For the 5x5 doing the outer than inner then the outer will leave a cube needing the inner to be supper flipped - not scramble the cube.
What brand are your 5x5 and 7x7 cubes?

While I was doing the superflip on my 5x5, I messed up the centers, and after solving them, I had to do parity on every single edge.

10:46 instead of R2' L' just do R'L' and that saves the first move of algorithm.

I tryed to do this i could not do it but now i know how to do it and it is the easiest
I tried to do superflip for the first time now. On a 7x7. From UNSOLVED / SCAMBLED state.
Doing the centers, I got stuck on the final 2 centers. Or in fact the final center. I get 5 centers solved, but the 6th center is unsolved, the colors are all over the place. Can't move them without messing up the other centers.
Have you done it before and do you have advice to solve the final center?

Doing R2’ on the megamix, the 2 is a bit pointless because you do an R move at the beginning of the algorithm here is if it was math.
0-2+1=-1 So you can just do R’ and skip the first R of the first R U R’ F of the algorithm BUT you need to still do R2 at the end.
can you only superflip from an unscrambled position?
you could actually solve the scrambled cube into the superflip by just solve the corners normally and solve the edges flipped.
the algs for the megaminx works with the 3x3 but you only have to repeat 5 times and rotate 3 times, the prep is the same
this may be helpful for those who want to know many different ways to do super flip
