- This video is dedicated to a wonderful, majestic woman, who served her nation tirelessly, with humility and due diligence. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II lived a long life, a life full of triumphs, pains and lessons. She passed away at the age of 96 in Balmoral Castle, Scotland with her beloved family at her bedside. Her Majesty will be greatly and dearly missed not only by her loyal subjects, but also those from around the world who loved her as she made an impact to everyone. She's an inspiration to us, her courage, determination and wisdom are above all from us. She's the epitome of a great leader, servant, as well as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
May Her Majesty rest in paradise and the light shine out upon her.

I am an American but Elizabeth was "my" queen too. I found this tribute -- this beautiful music and the lovely pictures depicting Elizabeth's life very, very touching. As it happens my beloved mother was just one year younger than the Queen and resembled her greatly -- not just in their physical appearance but in their honor and character, dignity and strength. Bot also too in their bravery to keep living, to keep going despite challenges and losses. And now both of them are gone and my live, our lives are diminished because of it.
As I watched this video and other well deserved tributes to Elizabeth I find myself so angry, so, so angry with her grandson Henry and his hateful spouse. I respect that Henry was desperately unhappy but how could he have ever felt his hurt justified his disrespect to this wonderful woman?

Nine months after her passing, this video still brings joy to my heart and tears to my eyes. She suffered much in her final years but kept true to her vows and the people she loved. She lived such an extraordinary and privileged life and did more for the institution, commonwealth and country than we may ever realize. We desperately need more leaders and examples like her today!

I am not a Commonwealth citizen, but I adore Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. I think that the couple had a cramped life as a royal family, but they fulfilled their role as one of the ideals of humankind until the end. Now they must be on good terms and smiling at each other in wonderful Heaven.

My family has some British backgrounds. My Great Grandmother, who is no longer with us, moved to Canada to begin her own family in Canada. So my family was devastated when she died. My Papa who is my Grandfather said that we lost 2 queens in 2022. My Great Grandmother and Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. My Great Grandmother died on June 14th, 2022 at 1:00 pm. She was dealing with cancer since August 2021. So all I can say is, Rest In Peace Your Majesty. Your long reign will never be forgotten

I cannot get over the loss of QE II. The late Queen was duty and devotion itself--themselves. When complimented on this quality of her long reign, she would humbly state "It's the training, really..." Some of it had to be the training, but the lion's share was the woman herself. Her late majesty is the ideal role model for anyone seeking meaning in his or her life. Do the job, then slip away. Do not wait for the applause.

I had to watch this because I loved our Queen, and also my close friend died early this year. We had always planned to visit London when the Queen died but sadly we could not. Also this beautiful song takes me right back to school in the 1950s when we sang this each week along with Jerusalem. When I started watching this, what I did not know was that I would be crying at the end of it. What a wonderful Queen we had. She was there all my life. May she and the Duke rest in peace together.

Thank you for this, it is beautiful. She is one of a generation the likes of which we'll never see again. Whatever one thinks of the monarchy I hope they can respect the great dedication to duty and country that she had, literally to basically her dying day. As an American I feel very privileged to have seen her in person when she was in Williamsburg VA in 2007. I had just started working there shortly before her trip to the US so I had to go.
We will never see people like her again. Sadly the next King is the exact opposite in duty and thinking of others.

Does anyone know which orchestra/conductor performed this excellent arrangement or the name of the CD recording? There are many different versions, but this is really the most outstanding one.
Of all the photos of the Queen, she looked the happiest with her children. Perhaps this was her secret, seeing the British people as more of her children not subjects.
