The first photo already makes me cry. That was the last one ever taken of Queen Elizabeth II before we lost her. It's painful to think that she died just months after her Platinum Jubilee. No one could've known. I am proud to have been alive for 25 years of her reign. May she rest in peace.
Truthfully I suspected that she might be on her last legs, but the actual death itself still caught me off-guard mostly because she had literally always been there. It's strange to think of no longer having a Queen.
I was born in 1952, the year of her beloved Father's death and the year before her Coronation. A wonderful Queen and still so missed. I wish her son King Charles a happy and successful reign.
No words to express the sadness I’m going through . The best ruler of our times inspite of all the hurdles she has to go through . As a daughter , wife , mother , grandmother , great grand mother and above all as a QUEEN . You shall be forever remembered for the devotion of your responsibilities . May your soul rest in peace .
After Prince Phillip passed I sent the Queen a note of condolence because it broke my heart to see her sitting alone in the church for his service with hardly anyone there due to Covid. My husband of 40 years had passed less than a year before Prince Phillip and I told her how hard the grief is for me and I couldn’t imagine doing it in the public eye like she had to do, especially after so many years they were together. A month later I opened my mailbox (I live in California) and there was an odd-sized envelope that said Buckingham Palace. I opened it carefully and there was a card with a picture of the Prince and a handwritten letter from Her Majesty’s Lady-in-Waiting expressing the Queen’s thanks for my condolence message and expressing the Queen’s condolences to me regarding my husband’s passing. I was stunned as I never expected a response to my note. I have that note and envelope safely stored because I treasure it so. She was such a wonderful lady who lived up to the vows she took the day she was crowned so many decades ago.
Massive woman, I'm an ex Infantry soldier three nasty wars but in my heart I knew my oaths I swore were to her. Got bloody tears in my eyes. God bless her yep god bless.
The British really know how to say farewell in style. Here in the USA things are done with much less pomp. This was fabulous. I hope it made Her Majesty proud.
The end of an era. I have been brought up to admire HM for all she has done. i enjoyed the Silver, Golden and Platinum Jubilees, there is no more fitting tribute than this; she truly vowed to us her country. God Bless you, Your Majesty.
R.I.P Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II. 70 Years Regin on The Throne of The UK and The Commonwealth 1952-2022. Elizabeth 1926-2022. Final resting place at Windsor Castle, down in the Valut of St George's Chapel.
Today is the start of the 2023 cricket season the last time I visited old Trafford was the 8th September last year I remember the worry that day as the news filtered in about her majesty’s decline and when I got home the sad news broke . I will always respectfully remember her every time I visit thank you ma’am
Omg do I miss her you just always thought she would always be with us heartbreaking that she no longer is. She did her duty far and behond through good times and at our saddest she was there to lift the spirits of our great nation. Thank you for your service. Godspeed rest easy with your beloved Philip.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
She had an great life as queen. RIP queen Elizabeth 2nd. Feel sorry for your children. Hope you and your husband prince Philip's are looking down on them from heaven.
@juliewaterstreet7371 I didn't know your mum, but as a Brit, our Queen was the only monarch I've ever known. May they both sleep well in Enternal Heaven!
@@juliewaterstreet7371 As Queen, I sent my deepest condolences to you and your family. I can’t even imagine losing Mummy, Princess of Wales because i really love her. The most beautiful patriotic song ever written and what a wonderful tribute to not only her late Majesty and her service but a tribute to the great British People . Thank you.
Today marks a half year since we lost Queen Elizabeth II. ’And soul by soul and silently Her shining bounds increase And her ways are ways of gentleness And all her paths are peace.’ God save the Queen.
I miss her Majesty, her dignity, the stability she brought not just to England but the Commonwealth as well. We are not the same, the Commonwealth is not the same without you but we go forward just as you would want us to. R.I.P. your Majesty and thank you for everything.💔
She promised to serve her country for her whole life, whether it's been long or short. That's what she did. This is unbelievable and I think that we will never live something like this again Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor (21th April 1926 - 8th September 2022)
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace An iconic masterpiece so fitting for Queen Elizabeth - Guided by her great sense of duty for her country, and by her duty to Christian faith. It's almost as if this poem written by Cecil Spring-Rice, and set to the music of Gustav Holst was made for her. A decorated monarch, and reign. One that will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace, Ma'am.
I'm from America and I cried when she passed away what a beautiful funeral and sad.
It's 11 months and I still cry for my Queen. Requiescat In Pace Ultima, Regina Elizabeta!! 💔😢🙏✝️
