All in One ... Mr. Ray Stevens.. Ladies & Gentlemen.. The best of the best.
This song never fails to put a smile on my face ... thanks for all of the laughs and the feel-goods throughout the years Mr Ray! 👋💜
Absolutely loved this since '66 when it came out on a ...... wait ..... A 45!!!
I bought a copy too, was 11 years old
CANT GET ENOUGH OF RAY
He sounds the same as he first sang it. Great to hear it. My friends and I used his song for a school concert....mimed it of course. We were a real hit with the crowd!! Haven't heard it for a long time. I still have the single.
On this day in 1966 {July 5th} Ray Stevens performed "Freddie Feelgood (and his Funky Live Five Piece Band)" on the ABC-TV week-day program 'Where The Action Is'...
Eleven days later on July 16th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart for a two weeks stay, peaking at #91...
It reached #22 on the Australian Kent Music Tracks chart...
Mr. Stevens, born Harold Ray Ragsdale, celebrated his 74th birthday seven months ago on January 24th...
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen
This guy is something else. I just laugh my full head off at some of his videos. You have quite an imagination Ray Stevens.
He is so funny and talented!! One of a kind! 😁👍 I love his song "Everything is Beautiful" 💖

Tom Freimann sandy Kay Ballard Ray Steve sand ☺ is going to be great
Any song Ray sings is the best and funnist I've ever watched
Certainly discovered his place in life! I have been a big fan since I purchased my first "Ray Stevens" album in 1974. Still have it. Just looked at the vinyl LP label and it indicates the album name was "Boogity Boogity". Featured "The Streak", Freedie Feelgood" and more. Hmmmm, is that a picture of Ray streakin' on the album jacket!?!
Just swinging by in Aug 2020, for a much-needed laugh.
Love me some Ray!
Rays band has more soul than they can control, amen bro ,
I've never seen this vid before until now! That was one of my favorite tunes! Ray Stevens is one of the greatest!
Love everything Ray does...Wish someone would download "When the Kids Leave Home."
Love you Ray! 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
How many people can one up themselves? Love it!
100% Excellent!!!
This is great. Hilarious.
Ray Stevens is perhaps one of the greatest pieces of Americana we have!!!!!!!!!!!!!LMAO
I LOVE THIS VIDEO RAY STEVENS
Very funny. This was the first record I ever bought, I was 11 in 1966 when it came out.
One of a kind !!! Chip off the old block fellows. Lol 👍 Gotta Love him.
Plays the bass on a cello. This is great.
Not to get too in the weeds but technically that's considered a Stand Up Bass...even though it physically resembles the Cello the differences are in the tone/pitch/octaves etc. etc. Also, the Cello is aligned with classical music and is played, historically, while seated and the Cello situated between a person's knees and a bow is used rather than your hands. The Stand Up Bass found in a lot of jazz bands of certain era's is played exactly as Ray's demonstrating in the music video...plucking the strings with your fingers.
Cool Ray. Groovy, far out
What a guy. Ray is the awesome dude.
Musical genius
I'm kinda partial to the slide trombone myself!!
This was adorable
Gawd, this is brilliant. 😆😻
@raystevensmusic that is the second smallest trombone I have ever seen.
This song would probably make a hit if it was played straight. It is that good. December 2021.
Ray I can tell you enjoy yourself.
Ray you are so talented it amazes me.
HEY HEY
Cute song 👌
Well, I can for sure say that this is in fact funky.
Ray is so talented and always makes me smile!

I can never not laugh when ever the drummer starts in
I love you!
If you look closely, you can see the whole band is actually 5 Ray Stevens.
John Garrett no duh
Damn no kidding I didn't noticed that thanks for pointing it out bro
Love this man. Has only become more handsome with age.
❤️
Always loved the song and like the special effects with all the different Ray's.
I feel his very best song is In The Mood and then Gitarzan ....hell, they're ALL the best 😎💓😍🇺🇸

all the instrumental stuff, minus the piano, and drum interludes, were supplied by ray's voice. cool huh?
Actually the drum is also Ray's voice...he's scat singing...as he does for Freddie Feelgood. The piano is the only thing not vocally mimicked.
I'd say this song works a little better as a funky little four piece band. Cause then you can vocally mimic all the instruments. Although, I'm biased because I first heard it as a barbershop quartet.
Yes he is pretty outstanding.
*gasp* no! I thought they had mastered cloning!
i love all rays songs .where did he get all this

All this came from God. Ray Stevens has lived a life that proves one doesn't have to be evil to have fun and get rich at the same time. He's a shinning example of how good guys don't have to finish last. If one works for it first place is an attainable goal. I love this man in the purest of all Godly ways. I know there will be laughter in heaven, because Ray Stevens will be there. I can picture him holding regular Saturday night sock hops on that street of gold with Old Gabe leading the band.
I laughed harder at the tiny trombone than is probably legal.
LOL
haven't heard this one before but but it is pretty funny
It's from his album "The Streak". My family used to have it on 8 Track. It also included "Bridget the Midget, Queen of the Blues" and "The Moonlight Special", which was a parody of "The Midnight Special" and even had an emcee called "The Sheepdog", who was a parody of "Wolfman Jack"
Would have loved to see a Ray Stevens x Jim Croce collaboration.
... :-)... 4089 comments, saying yes man!
Where do I get a copy in a CD?

This sounds like "Gitarzan".
Sounds a lot like "Gitarzan".
Why does the girl look like Jimmy Garvin?
its hilarious because its so underwhelming for me when they all play together.
