Elizabeth Taylor was not in the movie. She was there to keep an eye on Richard Burton who was the male star in the movie opposite Ava Gardner and Deborah Kerr.
You’re right! My mistake 😀
They didn't actually live in Puerto Vallarta but outside towards Mesmaloya Beach south of Puerto Vallarta. They didn't live there for long nor for extended periods of time. Personally, I'd be more inclined to look for less tourists, lower prices and more for your money.
The quality of life in Puerto Vallarta is much better than many places in the world .
I really enjoyed Puerto Vallarta, staying with a Canadian friend who has a condo there. I highly recommend the Botanical Garden, a short taxi/bus ride away from the city. It is the most amazing garden I have ever visited! You can even swim there and eat in the awesome restaurant, and if you’re a birder, it’s unparalleled.
I love watching all your new videos! Puerto Vallarta has been on my list for a while!
Awesome! Thank you!
Very well done and you present the city in a very encouraging and positive manner.
You did an amazing job with this video. Very well done, and very informative. I love Puerto Vallarta.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love Puerto Vallarta! It’s absolutely beautiful! ❤️
I love PV also. Very unique. So much to do! And gorgeous scenery
Nice video, Mariana! I watch two channels located in PV and haven't seen over half of the places you showed us. It's such a beautiful city!
It really is! Thanks for watching
I’ve been to PV over 30 times and real enjoy it there.
Thank you for sharing.
Looks like this is now on my places to visit. Thank you.
Nice!
Fantastic service you offer, thank you 🙏🏻
Our pleasure!
Mexico 🇲🇽 hermoso
Yes 100% chance we’re going to It’s beautiful keep up the good Beautiful place and I would love to live there permanently Mexico.
I'm so glad you've liked my comment. Now if I could only get beamed up over there. Still have a way to go for that.
Great video!
Just something I saw when I was there during Xmas, downtown wasn't very clean. Other than that, Pto Vallarta is Great!
Glad you enjoyed it
Peruto Vallarta is ok to visit although anything longer than two weeks will be a bit longer than I would stay as it isn't what it used to be as tourists have a way of changing things and not all of them are good. Prices have really moved upwards and it does have issues that are not all good. Locals don't live like the tourists do and the real estate market is great for those selling it.
Having been to Puerto Escondido and Cabo San Lucas plus San Jose for about a year, thought your coverage was really nice. Puerto Vallarta seems to have a little bit of Mexico everywhere you go yet it's a city. Well when I put some money together again Ill be back.
Very cute, nicely done video. I would definitely look you up, if, rather when I plan on coming down. Good job girl.
Thank you! 😊
🎉❤thanks for all the info. Looking forward to BEING there soon ! Love beach time ,walking & swimming too. Love Farmers Markets with fresh food. Hope to find a small apartment where i can cook my meals as desired. And easy walk to beach. I am fairly active in my 80th year. Experience some old injury discomfort from time to time. Know Salt waves cure all my joints ,muscles ,spirit , heart & soul. Excited about possibility of a place to rent for $500 / month &:still have $ to eat out too. 🎉❤
.. The cost of living in PV has increased over the past few years. It will be very challenging to find a rental for $500/month (unless it is well outside the main area, and very, very basic). The average rent (on the lower end) is around $900 USD to $1,200 USD.
Well done 👍 thanks
Thanks for watching
there was no Liz Taylor involved in the night of the Iguana... but anyway, appreciate your video!

Im in PV right now - still pretty PRCEY!
It all depends on your personal economy for sure
I always enjoy visiting the local butcher shops, because I love to buy something to feed the dogs - it's economical and the dogs love some fresh meat. Moreover, the local shops are all very helpful and economical. Very convenient!!!
Absolutely :)
Another great video!
I really liked how you encourage newcomers to buy locale.
I do hope that you begin to take into consideration the impact that newcomers will have on the environment, as well as to discuss some of the pollution that is considered " normal" in Mexican coastal towns. (Raw sewage dumped into the ocean and industrial pollution in its rivers)
Sadly that's going on all over the place, not saying that's good but one of these days we'll solve the pollution.
Nice
Thank you for this video. As a single 72 year old, I'm looking further down the path and wonder about assisted living care, senior apartment buildings, hospice care, etc. Can you embellish on that or perhaps send me a link of where you think would be a good place to at least start on getting really good information about their quality of care, prices, etc.? Thank you.
Sure thing- here you go mexicorelocationguide.com/assisted-living-facilities-in-mexico/
@@MexicoRelocationGuide thank you so much! :-)
A friend of mine just got back from PV and says its just as expensive as Canada now.
Puerto Vallarta is one of the more expensive cities in Mexico. But it also sounds like your friend might be living on a very low budget in Canada.
@@MexicoRelocationGuide He has had a government job for 30+ years, same as me. He has money, same as me.
Thank u for the information. How safe is it there right now? With all that's going 9n in the news
Perfectly safe
Very safe
Like it but love Bucerias to the north
Thank you! But why is there no ability to save this video for future review? It seems to be disabled?
You can save it. It might be on your end?
Poderia falar sobre as escolas para crianças em Puerto Vallarta?
I have heard a lot of comments about how hot it is in PV during the summer. Is there a town on the Mexican Pacific coast somewhere that is cooler in the summer than PV.?
Rosarito beach doesn’t get as hot. It’s in Baja California close to the border with California
Why not mention Punta Negra Beach?
Do the condos and apartments usually include homeowners associations (HOAs) for renters?
If you are renting they may or may not. Something you can ask before signing a lease is whether the "mantenimiento" is included. That is the HOA fee.

There is NO CHEAP place in Mexico anymore. 20 years ago yes, today no
Cheap no- affordable yes
Cheap is a rude way to describe anything, especially someone's place of living.
Affordable is also subjective, which people don't seem to acknowledge or understand.
How much does it cost per month on average to live there including rent, food and utilities?
We believe you can live comfortably on $1500 a month including rent. But it all depends on the location, the size of the rental, and your lifestyle 😀
How do you rent a place for e.g. 3 months? AirBnB is sooo expensive
Find an Airbnb for a few weeks then try to negotiate a better rate off the platform with the landlord directly. Doesn't always work but that's a tactic. Otherwise, being here in person is the best way to find short term reasonable accommodations- by word of mouth
Hello, i'm 40 years old, not retired but would like to buy a property in PV and continue to work there. Is there an option for non citizens?
Yes 👍🏼 you can buy property in Mexico as a foreigner.
First, try to learn spanish.
I am moving to Puerto Vallarta on August 27, 2023, and need help finding a one bedroom apartment
Hi Willie! That’s awesome
This can help mexicorelocationguide.com/best-rentals-in-mexico/
You didn’t mention the trash on the streets and loud music. You should give the negative aspects as well as positive to be honest
Hi! We actually do have a lot of videos and blog posts about the folklore of Mexico which talks about it being a loud country by the standards of most Americans and Canadians 😀 i don’t feel I need to beat a dead horse mentioning it on every single post. Because people should visit and make those determinations on their own
Thanks for watching 😉
easy to get around unless you live up on the mountains!!! 🙃🤣
Pretty much!
Boy I like it.But now it's more than the United States.
crime??
Crime happens in Vallarta like in any city of the world. It's important to practice the same safety measures so that you don't make yourself a target. Such as: locking your doors, keeping your wallet or purse nearby, knowing which neighborhoods to avoid, etc.
I wish they would improve Amazon services.
Fair enough
We are in PV 6 months per year and Amazon services have been excellent. We have never missed a package. Selection of products and delivery time is not quite as good as north of the border but it is pretty good. A few years ago it wasn't this way.
