.... and if you use expression maps and you go to the score editor you can see the articulations as text indicated in the score. The same expression maps are used in Dorico with the same result.
Tried the trial version dam it sounds amazing, prob best sounding library i ever heard (even better than Berlin Strings, spitfire audio etc), I hope steinberg will do more libraries or more collabs with Orchestral Tools hopefully get a Choir that sound as good as this.
Great presentation man! ... plus marvelous recording and programming by musicians and Steinberg! Such a warm and really detailed sounding orchestra sampling with of lots of AI coding in the background that re-defines the sampling in Halion as such (like NI possible with Kontakt). one Q: What controllers you've got in between keyboard and a monitor?
Wow note expression are great then have been implemented in Yamaha gear like the Mu-100 quite a while ago. Yes I know Yamaha Owens Cubase now, I guess they implemented that into there new products.
will there be instruments expansions depending on the regions of the world? sort of UVI world suite thing...why I'm asking.....cos I want Halion to be the ultimate tool for my compositions..don't want to invest in UVI...FULLSTOP... STEINBERG...DONT STOP..:-)... Thank you!!..Fantastic job...thanks to VST3 too....
VST Instruments & Plug-Ins +1 (or more accurately +10000) on that...having a sampler that is fully compatible and integrated with (not to mention optimized for) our DAW of choice handle everything and anything we could need would be a dream coming true!!!
Wow, what a great presentation! I'm eager to know your name. Why don't you take a course in orchestration ? Thank you so much for your nice presentation!
Legato is not obvious, The overall sound is a little thin, Percussion is good, €799…Woooow!I reserve my opinion for cost performance, Maybe I’ll think about it when there’s a discount on Black Friday, If there’s a discount ........

Im curious what that about the controllers being used in this demo as well. Ive been meaning to replace my stock Apple typing keyboard...wondering what's the one you have there with all the QWERTY keys lighted up?
It's the Steinberg CC121 as the main controller, then the lovely Console1 from Softube that is and works great in Cubase as full functionality is supported :) The keyboard is a Corsair mechanical but I think it's Windows only. The CC121 and the Console1 are really a killer combo together!
Bit late (2020 !!) .. well, very late but wanna say thankyou for a very engaging post, it has to be said ( Having watched you for s u c h a l o n g time ) you are a fantastic presenter of inspirational music.
