Yes, switch has in internal open circuit or is faulty internally, I would recommend removel, and check pin tension, power and ground and if all ok, new switch
@@GicaPhp today the control epb did not appear. strange situation , everything works normally . could it be that moisture got in somewhere and that's why it showed this error?

@@GicaPhp Hi, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. mine has broken one side of the pivot. I can get it to work by carefully holding the switch in correct position as I use it. Regards Chris
@@ChrisRoch-ci4hp I am 90% it will work from an LHD vehicle, as I do not see any difference in the wiring diagram. Do you have the part number on the one you wanna buy?

You don't need any diag nor batery disconnecting. Send me your vin along with an email address and I will send instruction how to remove the knob

use the plastic trim tool and slide it under one on each side, and it will come out, take your time
