Thank you so much.
Switch replaced only due to your video. Hyundai 2015 I30n.
Definitely not intuitive.
Thank you for the guidance and for taking the time to post this.

Happy to help Andrew :)
Superb work. Works exactly as u said
Thanks mate
Cheers mate....just what I was looking for
Awesome, fucking thing is tight 🤣
@@RealAutoSolutions Still trying to source one of the net....Not sure if the one on ebay are suitable for Aussie model cars.
Thanks for the vid 🙏
I'm sure it won't be as easy as you make it look lol but I'll give it a go
When you think it's going to break, keep pulling, it's so retarded
@@RealAutoSolutions yep. Sounds like a Hyundai 😅 I'm surprised there isn't a million screws
@@jmariani11 let me know how you go!
thanks very helpful 2017 Santa fe...to replace brake switch ( China aftermarket $30...Hyundai same sw $349+gst!!!!...beyond my pension!!!!
cheers
BTW...lever very tight...used molygrip around top of shaft ..put small block of wood on consol edge and levered UPPWARDS!...
Theyre pretty common to fail ive found, the lever is crazy tight, you would think its bolted in haha
forgot to mention i wrapped the polygrip jaws with tape so not to damage leather....(placed on underside of knob and levered up as mentioned)
Thanks 🙏 I have a canbus short somewhere in the system, and when i wack the center console, ot goes away. So im going to be taking this apart to see whats up!
Let us know what you find!
@@RealAutoSolutionsThanks again for your video. It wasn't in the center console, but a frayed cable under the front passenger seat - connecting to the occupancy sensor. Shorted to ground, caused the whole canbus fiasco.
@@epicpartytime nice work!
Thanks mate!
You're welcome!
Obviously the tucson is a different style but is it the same process?? I need to replace the brake switch and all ive seen are videos of santa fes. Any tip would be helpful. Thanks
I can't say for sure, but what I can say is generally they make things in similar ways
If you can't find screws or anything, all you can do is try
Do you have the part number for the epb switch? The one in your video is the one i need.
I'm sorry I don't, I would just call Hyundai or Kia and ask for parts, then ask them.
They have no problem selling them mate
Or try search it on partsouq.com
Verbal you show how to proceed but don’t show how to do it manually, that’s no good 😳
Unfortunately I already pulled it out before I decided this might be a useful video for someone, though I show how to install it, so it's just the opposite way
Didn't show us
I know, but I explained it and put it back
Watch in reverse if you want to see me remove it
