So nice to get to know Tara. She has a very calm presence that is warm and relaxing]. Regarding “stalker” cards: when learning something new, I like a recipe, directions, and rules to set the foundation, but this tends to lock me into tunnel vision. I see these stalker-cards as educators/reminders to consider the essence of the card while adopting/accepting different perspectives based on the context (the question), the influence a/o impact of surrounding cards and placement in the spread, and the imagery as intentionally designed by the creator of the deck. I love reading the guidebooks cuz I’m always seeing a new perspective. Thank you both for your time. See ya next time ❤️🤟☀️

Absolutely! I adore you both! Thank you both for responding to my comment! Tara It made me feel so special as most of the time I think I have no idea what I’m doing in regard to reading. I’ve been so intimidated by it that even though I have around 40 decks (and so many more on my wish list haha) and have been practicing for almost two years I feel like I know nothing… but I so badly want to learn to read for others and I would love to start a tarot channel with a focus on addiction/ recovery. (Maybe someone won’t see this and beat me to it if they have not already)
@@Erinthemystic I think that is a beautiful idea for a channel Erin and could help a lot of people 🥰 I hope you can find some comfort in the discomfort of your tarot practice. I still have moments reading for myself and others where I just say “I have no idea what this means” lol! Of course I know having knowledge and experience is important but I find that with that comes an acceptance of knowing you don’t and won’t ever know it all and that’s ok! That’s what keeps us learning and growing and that’s how we evolve so I’d say look at those moments where you feel like you “don’t know” and see them as opportunities ❤️ I hope I see some videos pop up from you one day. Life’s too short not to do the things that you love 😘
this was an awesome chat!! something that helps me with the “blank mind” feeling during a reading is to pretend im giving the reading to a stranger. for some reason that helps me get the initial message of a set of cards

I'm the same about the word "lover" it is gross to me 🤣 I actually do not like the name partner either. "Partner" makes me think of a business partner so it seems so weird when people say that instead of other half/boyfriend/ girlfriend/ husband /wife etc 😅 So I just pulled my card for the day and I got the lovers card 😂
