I started listening to Voddie Baucham 8 years ago. I have listened to one of his sermons almost every night - listening to a select group of his sermons dozens and dozens of times, over the years.
Result: the word of God has changed me immensely! I give God the glory and I bless Voddie for his dedication to the undiluted word of God.
That’s great! I only became aware of Voddie after a thread prompted at the conclusion of a John MacArthur video on CZcams about 17 months ago; while visiting family in the States. And I must say, I’ve missed a lot of learning in my aging life. These sermons have been evidence of how I’ve failed in so many ways. And how far from God Almighty I have been living. I praise and thank HIM for HIS patience with this fallen,wretched soul.
It needs to be said by somebody but by far VODDIEs sermons are the most interesting of any I’ve ever heard in my life

As I finish watching/listening to this sermon, I noticed 46 dislikes and am wondering what was it that there's to dislike about the sermon. Is it that we are convicted by the sermon, or that it has gone against what we have been taught and accept from corrupt teachings by those who were ignorant of teaching the true Gospel? Or is it simply that those clicking the dislike button feel they can do better? Just thinking out loud.
The dislikes are either from impure motives, or lack of understanding. Keep faithful to God.

For decades I felt out of place in the Church, I couldn't stand that sing song sissy stuff. It never fit with what I had been taught in my earliest years in Sunday school. This fits back with who we are and were as protestants not that prosperity gospel.

Vodie is a blessing o listen to, as always. But the sound is hideous; sounds on the edge of feedback, and the space sounds extremely reverberant, badly in need of acoustical treatment and/or a better sound system. And maybe better operators.

2. Literal Bodies
The resurrection of believers will be just like that of Christ - both bodily and literal.
Then He [Jesus] said to Thomas, 'Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving but believing' (John 20:27).
On another occasion He said to His disciples.
Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have (Luke 24:39).
Our Bodies Raised
As Christ's resurrection was literal and physical, so will be the resurrected bodies of believers.
If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through His Spirit that dwells in you (Romans 8:11).

But just the same listen to this:
Paul Washer states, “You cannot rely on the testimony of Calvin alone…." Calvin under his reign of terror in Geneva had over 60 people burned at the stake for disagreeing with his teachings. He tortured people etc. This is common knowledge. Calvin zealously sought to murderously enforce his own laws to his own dogmatic, egotistic ends. Reformed teachers know the knee jerk reaction people can have with reformed theology plainly and honesty spoken so they couch their words.
But at the end of the day the message is John Calvin.

Paul is not teaching a "physical" resurrection of our biological bodies from earthly graves. Paul is speaking of spiritual death that sin brings about - a cutting off of fellowship with God. Christ takes away that sin so that fellowship in the spirit can be restored. The last enemy "death" was destroyed in the first century. Christians die and go to be with the Lord. The continuity between earth and heaven is John 3:3. Have you heard the word? It's a soul salvation, see 1 Peter 1:9. The redeemed soul discards the body at biological death and is clothed with a spiritual body, suited for heaven. The resurrection applied to us is John 3:3. It is not an issue of our human tissue.

Did you know that Adam and Eve did not physically die the day they ate of the forbidden fruit? God said that the day that they eat of it, they would surely die. Did you know that Adam lived to be 930 years old? Here is a good verse to consider further, to understand what the "death" it is sinners are being saved from. Look at Luke 15:24
and then realize it ties into what Jesus said in John 3:3, 5, 7-8,.............16. And look at 1 Peter 1:9.
I consider 2 Corinthians 5:16 is the principle because the hour in John 4:21-24 is ever present, and that faith comes through hearing the word of Christ.
In the New heaven and earth, there is no Temple needed and righteousness dwells. This is the description of the New Covenant in Christ.
In the fullness of God's New Testament economy, which are the days that were to follow the "last days" - in other words, the days that we now live in, have no end.
The redemption from sin is the salvation of the soul of man. Collectively considered, the redeemed souls are the one corporate body of Christ.
This is a spiritual birth that leads to restoration, fellowship with God and eternal life in heaven with the Lord, the one we enjoy now and forever.
His kingdom is not of this world.

Ok, so let's go this way. Man gets to heaven and then pats himself on the back for making the right decision. But then, when Jesus said, no man CAN come into me except my father draws him. Hmm, the only way to make this verse fit is to dethrone god, kick him out the back door, and claim, if I want to come, I will. Sorry, this argument doesn't fit.

The Bible has taught us that The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit are the one true God. Each having a different role with the human race. Yet one God.

So when Jesus said that: “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. John 6:44 It is simple saying that the Father makes all men aware that God exists and sends those who respond to Jesus.
BUT! not all men will respond even though they have no excuse. They know God exists but they made their choice.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools Romans 1:21-22

To begin with I had really liked Mr Baucham, but as I watched his sermons, my concerns grew. In this video he is seen shouting and bawling. I don't understand it. It's weird. Why is he so disturbed by 1 Corinthians 15? It's the most joyful chapter, but his reaction is one of pain and anguish. I simply do not understand his reaction at all. I don't know if I can call him my brother. He seems to have a worldly view of death, speaking of death as something tragic and fearful-that is not the view of a saint! Death holds no fear for us, only joy. Though above all my biggest concern for Mr Baucham was when I found out that he respects John MacArthur. Mr MacArthur may teach many things that are true, but in my opinion he is a dangerous teacher with a worldly spirit. He teaches the lie of "eternal security". I advise great caution concerning such men! Sorry to be negative but your life might depend on these things. Don't be led astray!

Son; I think you are confused. Pastor Baucham was describing the anguish he felt upon learning of the death of his cousin, but this was before his conversion. As far as John MacArthur, I disagree with Dr. MacArthur on more than one point of doctrine, but to say that he is a false teacher with a worldly spirit is absurd. It makes me wonder who exactly you have been listening to or what books you have been reading.
Jesus is not a god and he never said I am a god worship me. Jesus is a human and he is an honored prophet sent by God. Read the bible well you will find that. No one of his apostles worship him but they learned and followed him. They learned to worship the God ( The father on your book or Allah in our muslim belive) yes we as muslims told that by prophet muhamed peace and blessing be upon him. You also have to think and follow the right teaching of jesus and you have to read the bible and the quran and belive in prophet muhamed as he is the final messenger sent by god to the humanity.
