This sermon came "randomly" into my feed. I am so glad it did. This is my first time hearing this pastor preach. Such a powerful speaker of truth. I am grateful for his ministry and will be seeking other talks he has done.

I love how there is nothing politically correct about Voddie Baucham, but I also love how well-spoken he is. He gives you the message straight from the Word with no twist on it to protect your feelings. So many pastors avoid certain political topics because it may be too controversial or too offensive to people, but Voddie isn't afraid to talk about those topics. This message in particular is INCREDIBLY uncommon to hear in the church today. The church wants us to look at Jesus and this nice guy that's soft and loves everyone. And while yes, He does indeed love everyone, He's also part of the Trinity, sitting at the right hand of the Father, just as Scripture says. Jesus isn't an entirely peaceful Lord. He flipped tables, He got angry, and He was in agreeance with every decision God the Father made since the beginning of time. Every time Israel was punished for its sin, Jesus was there and was in agreeance with it. While Jesus does unconditionally love us, He is also the supreme, sovereign, Lord of all creation who answers to NO ONE, and we are to bow to Him, serve Him faithfully, and do His perfect Will as He commands us in Scripture.
Very well said. Thank you. Look at Zechariah 14 when Jesus stands on the Mt of Olives. I like sharing this so I'm sharing it but look at the power. He stands on the Mt and it divides into the shape of a cross. That's powerful in a couple of ways at least.

Why he is telling that Reincarnation is not correct? Because Christianity is his bread and butter. As soon as Reincarnation is correct, Christianity stands entirely false. So, this person, wants to suggest that Satan is suggesting memories, whereas Reincarnation has thousands of evidences.

I am not sure if Christianity includes reincarnation or evolution. But I am also not sure that they don't. I think a big problem is that religion in and of itself is too confining for such an AWESOME GOD. We have not arrived yet (most of us) at the place of deeper meaning and a larger picture. Our minds have been eroded and locked because we have not fully grasped our true identity. This cannot be done until we humble ourselves to our maker as someone ready to receive. This is where we find our first love. It begins for us individually as it all began in the beginning of creation .... with Love.

I made the mistake of reading Revelation as a new Christian. 😅 Then I tried reading the Bible from beginning to end and almost gave up reading when I got into Deuteronomy...I was like, "I just can't get through all these rules, laws..." I told my mom how I was struggling and I was grateful that she told me to start with the new testament Matthew... That was exactly where I needed to start. It was really important for me to read what Jesus had to say. I was extremely surprised at how no one really ever taught it to me like how it was given to me as I read it. I've also realized how many twist the scriptures.

A good start is 1 JOHN. It explains everything and is super encouraging. Romans is more difficult but explains what Jesus really did for us. It describes our inheritance fully. I had to read it many times to 'get it'.

I think one of the reasons "The Chosen" is so popular. It feeds into the culture picture of Jesus. He is just friendly and loving.

I'd like to hear some preaching on current events because what's going on in the world,, all over the world is tribulation, troublesome times,, persecution of Israel and Christians,, and so much more than I can list here. Could we be going through the tribulation now.
No, not yet. The third temple hasn't been built yet. In the tribulation, the Antichrist sits on the throne in the third temple built on the temple of the Mount.

Do you mean half truth Jesus is the son of God . Jesus died for 3 days 3 nights so are you telling me God died to , being that this man say Jesus and God are the same. Jesus in his preaching constantly say his father this or that.
Personally I believe the New Testament is poorly written. Mathew has one version of the same story and so is Luke , Paul say three different things for the same letter. Paul say he is Hebrew then further along he said he is a Roman.

@@LivingMyBestAlways I don't think you understand. Christ, as the son of God, was in the flesh. Imagine a river talking to the one and only mountain on the earth topped with snow and ice, with one hot spring that produces steam and its raining up there. The river says "Source of all water, I am your form, although they have dammed and drained me, I know I will be caught up in the clouds again to form rain at the top of the mountain where you are and will become one with you again". I hope that illustration is helpful. Maybe a video of Dr. Daniel Wallace on the verification of the New Testament.
I’ve often wished Voddie was blessed with the original “Gift of Tongues” not the psychobabble of evangelicals but the real gift received by the Apostles, the ability to be understood by all nations. He is a wonderful preacher. I know he’s too humble to like this comment and the Holy Spirit knows what He’s doing.

Voddie's sermons coupled with reading the Bible daily, have made me seriously reconsider becoming a Lutheran. The way he explains things just make more sense to me and I feel like God is using him to explain things to me in a way I never understood before.

Years ago, as a music director at a Prez church, I submitted the song, "Awesome God". The Pastor shot it down, saying the song made God "sound mean". I was certain that he was kidding but was flabbergasted to realize that he was SERIOUS! It was then that I knew my time there should be limited. Jesus was presented, not merely as "nice", but as Casper Milquetoast. My God is Awesome, in the original sense of the word, not as a synonym for "cool", as in the youth vernacular.

Jesus, Yeshua, was the man. He chose to be humble and He chose to beaten, whipped, nailed, and hanging on a cross suffocating for 3 hours until He had paid out price. We owe this man our eternity.

I was so so blessed to preach my first message at our small church and at the end, I had a similar point- we are in a huge surprise as to the awesomeness of God as he returns as the conquering king. Too many folks have a hollywood image of Christ in their heads, not a Revelation Christ!

Generally speaking, Jesus was kind to the humble, no matter how sinful; and he was harsh with the proud and hypocritical, no matter how righteous.
I would argue the Pharisees were never righteous, they merely thought of themselves as such. I agree with the other clauses to your statement.
Of the many fine sermons I have heard, this strikes me best in my mind, heart and soul.
God doesn't play games. He is to be feared with great reverence and respected more than any other. I pray he save me from the devastation that he will bring up on the earth unlike anything ever thought of or seen before, even though I deserve it. What happened on the cross and the resurrection was the single greatest event that ever happened on earth and in the eternal world not seen. Praise be to the Holy Almighty.

I was done listening when he said Jesus and God is the same. They’re one in Spirit yes but two Jesus was flesh God is not. When Jesus died where was God I guess dead too although the scriptures say God don’t die. Think and read understand the scripture before you agree with everything a person on the pulpit says.
“Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.”
