    All o run is Hobbywing! I have a Max8 combo in my Hoss, a Max10 in my Tornado buggy and Fazer MK2. And my punisher has an 180amp Hobbywing/Torox setup. Team HW

    Currently running 4 hobbywing setups at the moment.an foc fusion in my crawler,a 3800 kv in my basher.my sab goblin heli came stock with it,and I just installed the 120amp platinum in my 550 heli.had a 120 amp castle in the 550 and it would burn you after a flight,it thermal out a couple times on me,and the new hw setup stays cool along with the motor! More efficient means less temps!

    Nice and clear video, with this electronics kronos is a wild beast...

    Wow. And that's with just a 13t pinion. It's definitely going to need some fans on that motor. I'm assuming that this sensored ESC has temp cut off for the motor? Thanks for the video 👍

    I remember when you first got the car I told you, you would love them tyres 🙂 very light weight but still durable with a very good grip for most type of off road

    The ESC holes line up because HW is their OEM for their RTR’s

    Everyone loves hobbywing! ALL of spektrum's surface esc's are renamed HW, corally is designed/partners with HW, & HW is in 90% of all rtr vehicles nowadays 🤷. I ran HW when i raced. They, at the time, was years ahead of the expensive AF Tekin esc.

      @Luke-en2tk Před 2 lety

      Not quite Hobbywing manufacture the Spectrum ESC's to Spectrum's specs, same with Corally although the Corally's are pretty much identical I think just different software

    I think maybe a 14-15t and you’d be golden Joe smashing this far was the bash in sensored mode and did you notice the extra 10amps will you be checking your log to see what you pulled off him as for 160 he looked very mild in comparison to the max6 version 😎 like when you slap a max6 esc in an X maxx you can definitely see the difference right of the batt but with this1 it never looked like a 160amp esc 🤔hell will you be trying a different motor on the esc 🫡🤣🤣
    Joe very very nice of you to share💯💥✔️🫡

    Looks like it needs maybe a 14t pinion with some fans. Smooth setup for sure

      Definitely, I rarely would run 90 degrees , those are out hottest days and only couple months a year

    Great video. Wait tell you use the timing mode and turbo mode. I seen this in Arrma infraction v2 with combo stock setting 85 mph with timing max and turbo mode 108mph. I love it. I’m trying to get one sold out everywhere??

  • @george91871

    That HW Max8/2250KV is gonna go down as one of the best bashing combos EVER. I had it in my TLR Typhon and it was fantastic! I had her geared way up too...44/22 with 2 fans and it never got above 160. Took the TLR up to 78mph on 6S with no issues. I even put foams on it and raced with the combo and I was smoking people easy...made them put the truggies/buggies up and go Limitless/Infraction to keep up with me. The only downside is the ESC will shut you down if you push extra extra extra hard. The solution to that is take that 2250KV motor and pair it with a MMX8S...beast mode for sure!! You should give that a go and see how you like it...

      I'm having issues with the turbo deal killing everything, what should I do to keep the top speed without it killing gears and diffs and axles lol

    • @george91871
      @george91871 Před rokem

      @@kdstunts_641 I didn't have the combo with the turbo...just the plain one (probably version 1 I guess). My solution to the cutoffs was switching in a Mamba Monster X8S with the same HW 2250 motor. Match made in heaven. To prevent killing your diffs I'd say go much thicker with the oils. I use 1 million weight MINIMUM and I'll throw 20 million in the center. I like 2.5million up front to keep the wheelies down. The thicker oil protects the gears and gives you more traction as you go faster. The downside is it may decrease you turn radius upfront if you bash. As far as axles I use CVDs all around and keep the bearings in your hubs lubricated with grease or oil and more importantly keep them clean. I clean them with Simple Green after every run.

    I have a max6 combo, was going to put it in my tlr typhon. Burned up the esc in my chics vorteks 3s with grass clogging up the fan so I think I have to put it in hers lol I love driving her vorteks but it's been a headache. Wouldn't buy again. Maybe after I replace everything it will be as good as it should've

    170 is not good ! 170 is the temp that the sensor board starts to melt at in the motor
