The thing with DAS is that it was clearly stated and banned for the next season before the season even began and it wasn't an undisclosed settlement like Ferrari's. I was having a discussion with my friend a few weeks ago when I was getting my haircut, and he knows I'm really into racing and MMA/UFC. And he asked me if there was a fight night and a race at the same time, what am I watching. And it took me a minute. Because both are shows of humanity. But I told him it would be the race. The race because even if it has eras of dominance, has teams that make it not as fun, has a result that you expect, it's those moments that you don't expect, those amazing Monza 2020s, or Brazil 2008s, or Hockenheim 2018s that make you feel happy or sad or care for these people and these teams. It's these times that make us love this sport. You can't write this stuff, you can't fake it. It is excellent. There's a reason I ruin my sleep schedule every race weekend.
