Bad Monday Simulator had three difficulty settings! Hard mode cuts your hp in half, and gives you limited healing items.
Undergarf is the world where the characters of Garfield and Undertale combine. It's a carefree place, where everyone lives in harmony, free of daily stress. Free of mondays!
Nermal, after reading a letter from a friend, stumbles upon this secret world. Some time later, he challenges Sansfield, the fusion of Sans and Garfield, to the ultimate duel.
Sansfield VS Nermal. What motivates the combatants? Is it a case of petty rivalry? Or are the stakes unimaginably higher... Could this be the final battle of good vs evil that decides the fate of our universe?
Experience it yourself. Play Bad Monday Simulator.

It was fun doing some gameplay videos again! I'd for sure be interested in doing more in the future, but I'm not sure what my 'gimmick' would be... Maybe I make a unique talking avatar for every game I play? I've also been considering going back and playing random gameboy games. Trying to find cursed ones. That could be fun! What do you think of that?
Play lasagna boy for a video I think that would be cool I mean it isnât a cursed game boy game but itâs a game in that style
Sounds like an awesome and unique thing lumpy you should do that can't get enough of your content your a very charming person i watched way back when you were making the loading screen stuff for gorefield
This game is look epic as hell đ
Sounds fun
The one thing that I find unique is your editing style, I think its creative and funny but not annoying at the same time, so keep it up!
Lumpy being a Nermal Vtuber isnât where thought heâd go but itâs not unsurprising.
Lol it's not permanent, I used a PNGtuber of Nermal because he's the main character of the game.
I think if I had to pick a Garf character that was actually more like me I'd be more of Garfield or a Jon enjoyer.
@@LumpyTouch I feel like most people identify with either an eldritch horror or the most average man in the world Jonathon Arbuckleton.
@@LumpyTouch Nermal fan vs Garfield enjoyer
we hate png tuber and all png tuber of the jelly bean
@@LumpyTouch or you could be jim Davis
By the way, don't think I'm gonna do a canonical name for phase 3. Too many good suggestions! Maybe someday we'll just naturally settle on something.
Like gorefield đ
Omega garf
Omega Lasagna
Lasagnapocalypse
Maybe Ultra Field?
I feel like that Nermal question in 5:41 can easily be answered by it's Nermal and the player (Yes, NOT Chara.) Since the Player in Undertale is the one that pushes the Genocide run. So most likely in the Monday Kill ending Nermal gets too powerful to be controlled by the Player, and fights back, since practically all he knows is Kill or be Killed.
But that's just a theory on what Nermal could be
It completely goes against the bad monday mode ending where Nermal kills Sanfield and then the players. I think it's similar to Frisk in the Genocide route where it is the player doing it but Chara is still present in the red texts near the end.
@@riverajustinmarks. well I just said that's what I though y'know
I agree with this.
I love how no matter how old Undertale may be, theres still fangames like this which I appreciate, I love seeing fangames for it, amazing job Lumpy!
Yeah
*no matter how old Garfield may be
it's a good game to say the least
Sansfield might be intimidating, but turning Nermal into a character you actually root for? Now _that's_ scary. And I like it. Great commentary. It's not often you get to see a creator play through their own game.
As an undertale player who's almost beaten Monday mode, it depends whether phase 1 or 3 is harder (phase 2 is def easiest phase), the only hard attack from phase 3 is garf-gun, which is completely doable, while phase 1 is filled with rng based attacks, such as the dreaded blaster attack. If you're saying the phase to have the hardest attack, then it's phase 3, if it's overall, however, it's phase 1
Just what I feel! Well articulated!
I thought the blaster attack isn't rng based? It looked like it shot to where you were standing at the time
@@nisor123 for the blaster, this is true, but the bomb thing (Whatever it's called) spawns wherever, taking up a massive chunk of the box if placed correctly. This is why most Monday mode players avoid the corner, because there is a very big chance that you'll get trapped by the thing/bomb. The blaster only adds to the difficulty, as it is pretty fast if you consider that you have to pay attention to the bomb as well.
@@rayofluck6280 actually, upon closer inspection, the bomb actually spawns where you were one blaster ago. The bomb kind of tracks your movements, and appears where you were before.
Phase 2 is hardest on account of the zzzzzzs
I think phase 3 IS harder than phase 1, for a couple of reasons. First off, any nermal player (pun included) would have most if not all of their healing items depleted and used up. Second, the attacks have more variety, are harder for the most of it, and are hard to get used to and practice since most people will die in this phase. Not only because of garf-gun but because of attacks like the big odie mouth and the fast barrage of spikes as it is overwhelming. Lastly, the third phase transformation and appearance will surprise and catch most people off guard.
Tbh i got to it once and died not cuz i didnt know the attacks but becuase I wasn't fast enough
Nah, first face is definitely the more difficult one, the attacks are more random and aside from the oddie one, there are no safe spots and the hitboxes can be very jank, (I'm looking at you Pookie blasters) while in face 3, aside from the Garfield and Sans one, all attacks are easy to learn, they all come in a set order so you know whats coming next, and in all 3 of the spike arms attacks, the safe spots are already predetermined
I would agree, but there are a few things that make phase 3 easier
1: The attacks are, on the whole, easier than phase one, with little RNG meaning memorization can get you through 90% of it.
2: The attacks are in the same order each time, meaning you can actually plan ahead based on how well you can handle the ones coming up.
also garf gun
lumpy, for me personally the hardest phase is the sleeping one, specifically the zzz one
funny thing is that i can easily dodge every attack(even the garf gun)except that one
The hard part is getting in started in it. Iâd suggest moving up and down slightly in the pattern before you actually get into it
@@VoidAcrid Well i can't deal with the reverse one,the pattern is confusing
@@justchannel1395 same ironically enough but I found doing that helps
@@VoidAcrid hmm i see,thanks for the advices
the ZZZ attack was the hardest for me to deal with for a LONG time. Then suddenly it clicked.
Best advice I can give:
-go to the far wall when the attack starts, so you have to dodge less
-just be calm, don't panic
-GENTLY tap up and down one or twice at most to move with the wave. Only tiny presses are required.
This is the best Undertale fan game I've ever seen, it's a great game with its banger music, animations, attacks and especially hilarious secrets !!!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You thought the music was _raunchy?_
Takes all kinds I guess.
I love how lumpy starts talking about how hard the game is and says âunless your Undertale speed runnerâ and merg just shows up
i can just imagine Merg slowly fading into the spot of Lumpy
âIf youâre some sort of.. uh, undertale fangame speedrunner.â
Merg:
You absolutely blew this out of the park BTW, this fangame is just excellent all around
4:36
phase 1 is definitely harder than phase 3 for me because some attacks are very rng based such as pookie nukies (blaster things) and burger are pretty rng based espically pookie nukies so yeah
in terms of non-rng attacks difficulty phase 3 is harder
but if you take in rng attacks then phase 1 is definitely harder
Ah yes, Phase 1 is harder then Phase 1.
Yup. Phase 1 is definitely much more difficult than phase 1.
@@willysupergamer8164 fast typing issue moment. I hate myself for typing fast and not reading what i typed so i can correct my spelling mistakes/missclicks
Same
Suggestion Garfield would have a troll move on the sleeping phase if you hurt Garfield while his sleeping he gets a nightmare and it's a way harder move
I hope the burger cheese is still viable after the patch, just now requiring being actually pixel perfect for those mad skillz points
I kinda agree. Now that I've failed doing it a few times, I think the skill required to do it makes it fair.
I feel like the Odie kick cheese should be addressed though.
@@LumpyTouch Oh. hey! Yeah, I can agree on that, Odie cheese is pretty broken, as you said at least with the hamburger you have to aim still.
I would still say maybe shrink the hitbox for that down a little bit tho, you were getting some pretty big gaps at times, but leaving it in makes for a fun little challenge to test your skillz on
@@LumpyTouch I feel like if someone does the Odie cheese then sansfield should throw cheese instead similar to that one boss fight in crash bandicoot in the insane trilogy
Honestly, bad Monday simulator has to be one of the best undertale fangames I have seen out there, the attacks are creative and difficult, the pixelart animations are great, Musics great too, has to be the best I have seen
2:29 the fact that he showed Merg đ
I love this so much. You really outdid yourself with the animations and artwork. So freaking good.
OH MY GOSH i love how you put merg in the corner as you said âundertale fangame speed runnerâ because thatâs EXACTLY who i was thinking about when you said it đ€Ł
Sans of Sansfield............. Who do you think is more difficult?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Sansfield
Sansfield đđđ»âš
*Garfield with a gun is more difficult*
If weâre going off normal or hard for me, genuinely sans. I feel like sansfield is easier just because itâs only a couple attacks to remember. For example the gore field phase has 3 spike attacks all with no variance / randomness in pattern, the teeth chomp, odie teeth, and garf gun. Considering the spikes are easy enough to remember, thatâs really only 3 attacks to deal with. Meanwhile sans himself has all around difficult attacks
@@LazyBoringGuy *yep*
its cool to know you're the creator of that game, i really was suspecting the type of your animation videos to the type of animation of that game, so cool!
I find it really cool and really funny that the one who made Garfgun still sells to it sometimes. Makes it hurt less when I do.
We not gonna ask you to play Monday Mode, we gonna ask ya for P R A Y O N L Y M O N D A Y M O D E ! And yeah, here IS man who beated that, but how can anybody play the game better than creator of the game.
Godfield help me
@@LumpyTouch subscribers are uncontrollable people, but anyways channel is yours, choice is yours, BUT that video would have MANY views.
Loved how when you talked about being an undertale expert merg fades in
I wanna say this editing is 10/10
I think the Sansfield fight is harder since it feels like you take more damage here than with Sans.
At least the healing items go over Karma, thatâs a nice touch
Ive recently started trying to beat monday mode, and phase 3 seems so much harder. Garf gun is hell.
Having beaten the game on Hard, I would say that the difficulty goes down the further you make it. Of Phase 3âs attacks, Garf Gun proved to be the only consistent threat - everything else is pretty easy to read/memorize.
Phase 2 throws me off sometimes with those stupid Zâs. Phase 1 is the real battle as far as Iâm concerned so Iâm glad it happens first.
Garf gun can**** be easily dodged but making him shoot you at the bottom, cycle to the left and up, let him shoot you there at the top right, cycle down to the left, repeat. It's just going up and down in circles.
**With practice
Lumpy finding out the burger glitch is the funniest thing i've ever seen, idk if my humor is broken or not
Seeing Sansfield flip the bird after that sleep phase punch made me laugh way harder than it should've
The big scary guy the way he looks then arm striped and then the rib cage comes in with a big huge grin on his face.
I've never heard of your channel I've never heard of this game I looked at the thumbnail and when I clicked on it looked like a dead ringer for an undertale styled pennywise.
lumpy touch? how about lumpy goes touching some GRASS, anyways great video! i feel like phase 1 is harder, my take is on the blasters and the burger (if not cheese'd ofc) i have a hard time with the reaction time of the burger drips and the blasters can get you in a corner and just rickroll you, i am pretty sure that that's why in the undertale sans fight the random gaster blaster attack has a big box to avoid the gaster blasters if you get stuck in a corner, because that kinda thing would happen. But it's a rare occurance so it's fine
1:28 the moment sansfield just flipped you off after he get's punched is hillarious
I think the most "Undertale" answer to "What is Nermal" is he's YOU, the player, The game isn't playing itself, NERMAL isn't pressing fight, YOU ARE.
If I were to compare the difficulty of the fight compared to the Sans fight then I'd probably put this as harder just because of how it progresses. In the Sans fight, you don't really have to anything specific to continue the battle, you can attack Sans, heal, or even act and the fight will still continue on. But in Sansfield, you really have to fight or pray for damage. Everytime you heal, you're more or less delaying the fight to a point where it's just better to perfect run the first phase than try healing. There's not many full heals in the fight too and spaghettis in normal mode are a risk since you might be wasting a turn for a heal when you could potentially take more damage than what you heal. The fight would basically boil down to trying to perfect the run since trying to heal back is worse than trying to just get to the next phase where you can't even attack because it'll make the 2nd phase last longer.
Sans fight dialogue doesn't progress either unless you attack, so that point is moot.
I love how lumpy fails at his own game. But I liked the cheese pun and the Jon impression
Seeing Garfield suddenly getting falcon punched while he's sleeping and flipping you off for it cracked me up! đđđ
I always mention this, but man I love the De Blob music between attempts. Love the music taste.
Sansfield final form: The Coming Tuseday.
Basically it's a play on the game's name. Since your fighting on a Bad Monday, phase 3 sansfield is him using all his power to end this horrid day and bring Tuesday's peaceful dawn.
Sad that there is only one more video coming soon, your gameplay is so fun to watch!
I'm stuck between True Gore and Lordsagna. Btw Keep up the good work (as if any of it was bad smh imagine not liking LumpyTouch) I'm gonna play this and enjoy it like it's my first ice cream cone.
i like how he just put a picture of merg in the video while mentioning "undertale fangame speedrunners" XD
Nermal being fused with Chara means that this is actually the second genocide run. Or I messed up the undertale lore. Either way, I love your content. Keep going! Youâre great!
1:31 Never thought Garfield giving the finger is something I need in my life.
âi hope she made lots of spaghettiâ made me lose my final fall guys round because i was laughing so much
one time i managed to beat hard mode with 0 effort, because i got the pasta fairy 5 times IN A ROW and literally had 2 pages of spaghetti
"i hope she made lotsa spaghetti"
I think itâs funny that you chose MERG as the âundertale speedrunnerâ
Itâs perfect
love the gameplay videos!
STUFF YOU, NERMAL!
Very good video, keep it up!
About the sansfield god phase i feel like be could be named ultra sansfield since his design gives hard ultra sans vibes. Also your sansfield voice is pretty funny
Lumpy: 'i feel that if I don't get hit, this run will go better'
Me: *dies frothing at the mouth*
i love how your sansfield voice sounds like barney
Damn Lumpy boy, that Sansfield voice is top notch
The winnih the pooh impression will always make me laugh
2:25 i like how lumpy touch just show merg lol
2:25 I âââ„â how he added merg it's just funny lol anyway good vids keep it up: )
I do love how the cheese strat is literally going through the cheese
If you beat Monday mode, make sure to update that Q&A of yours ;)
In all seriousness though, great job! This was pretty impressive.
i love everything of this
Lumpy content: WTF MY EYES! OH GOD!!
Lumpy: Wholesome
Ngl Gunfield is the scariest Garfield creation youâve made yet
2:20 for anyone who doesnt know, the guy apearing in is merg and as he says, hes a undertale fangame player (also does a lot of no-hits)
i think phase 3 is harder the first time you play it because you don't know the attacks, but when you learn the attacks and pattern for phase 3 it's easier(besides garf gun), also in phase 3 it's more likely you'll have gotten the pasta fairy so even if you can't dodge that well you still can heal to survive garf gun
Gosh, lumpy, you are really incredible!!!!
in monday mode, phase 1 is def harder than phase 3
its those darn pooky blasters i tell ya
Also i like your videos keep it up lumpy!
I'm surprised no one noticed that garfield has the duck hunter laugh when you lose.
After âHard Mode Pray Onlyâ you should try âHard Mode Fight Onlyâ! Itâs a very interesting experience being unable to rely on the Pasta Fairy.
Lumpy's POV : He Discover He's Bugs | Lumpy : OH MY JESUS DUDE , I NEED TO RECORD THIS HOW TO PASS THE GAME EASILY TO NEW PLAYERS OF THE UNDERTALE AU
the thing abot this game is that some attacks are ok and very well made even too easy sometimes, and some attacks that have no sense to exist like blasters that deals too much damage or the one in the third phase when garfield have a gun, we need a patch to rebalance some attacks, the sprites are very well made, the concept of some attacks is very fitting and the music is epic, very god job so far 8,5/10
For me on which phase is harder, Iâll say phase 1 is probably the hardest phase. There are several attacks that involve RNG that can screw you over especially if youâre going for Monday Mode. Not to mention phase 3âs attacks are more scripted and are consistent on how to dodge them with a few exceptions.
Winnie The Pooh impression at the end scared the shit outta me
There's one thing I've always wondered.. You can pray to get that meteorite that deals insane damage, so, let's say that theoretically, you get REALLY REALLY LUCKY, and roll that one or more times at the beginning of Garf's sleeping phase, would that kill him?
No it doesn't, merg's video proves that even two high damage punches at low HP leaves him at one hit, it must be hardcoded to never have a value lower than that on the 2nd phase
Who knew it would be so hard for someone who literally made the game to beat it.
Don't worry I fell your pain...
personally i'd say phase 1 is definitely harder than phase 3, mainly because phase 3 is kinda like sans fight where it gives you attacks in a pattern, while phase 1 is RNG, so if there's an attack you struggle with you might struggle with it a lot in phase 1, while phase 3 you only see garf gun once basically,
(and most phase 3 attacks are easy to dodge gotta be honest)
2:22 Hahahahah. But seriously this fangame I'd say is on the difficult side, definitely not too difficult though, and it's one of the most fair I've seen. It's difficult because of the length and how punishing it is for mistakes, but not because the attacks are insanely hard.
Bro please make more of these gaming videos they are fun to watch
Nermal - pray mode
Abnermal - no mercy
Way to go on your gameplay. :)

0:33 for some reason i like the sound it makes (the cheese xd)
god I love the "Omega Field" design
Best undertale fan game
God I regret now watching this because.
It's like common knowledge Bad Monday Simulator is amazing by now, but I don't know why I didn't expect Lumpy to sound like such a nice guy. God if you made other gaming videos I'd watch them all
why didn't you expect him to be nice lol ?
Not sure it's just that I never actually imagined the person behind the content and God I'm not disappointed
"pookie nukies"
nice attack name 10 out of 10
0:18 Wait, did lumpy just refernce my Q&A question? (Also love your stream)
I know itâs been two years now, but I still feel like the game just came out
I think in the next patch something you should add the thing that the sans fight does, where he starts attacking you even in the UI
Best video of all time
SANS FIELD: OH WELL DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO
sansfield is for sure harder than sans, because a) i can no hit sans lmao, and b) sansfield as the boxes much much smaller, with a lot more larger, targeting the player attacks. POOKY BLASTERS ARE PAIN.
I can't believe he turned Nermal into a marketable plushie
1:29
The way Garfield pulled the middle finger on him đ
The death ranger of all the deaths
How does one nice sounding guy make such scary animations lol
the thing that makes phase 3 easier than phase 1 is which its very predictable because the patern of attacks stay the same for most attacks of phase 3 (also the attack always are in same order)
