A no power, not charging Switch repaired by Ninteno

Nintendo switch not charging and not powering on. tried all combinations of resetting buttons, none work. looked carefully at the charge port and found a bent pin. Checked online and realized it is complicated to DIY. called local shops and got quoted for $110-$150 CDN for repair, yet, no guarantee can be fixed. Finally found and went thru a trouble shooting steps on Nintendo site, they provide repair service for $99 CDN (plus shipping and tax, approx $120)
It took around 6 days between dropping it off for courier and reciving it back.
In case anyone had the same issue, hope Nintendo service be your last sort.
