That guard should should have stopped that one woman from touching his boot and stopped that other woman from touching the reins!! He should not have let them get away with that!!
I don’t think he was even aware of it. His mind must have been elsewhere!

Good Lord, the first one was not only touching the boot, but grabbing the stirrup! And then the next one grabbing the rein and the breast plate! Makes my blood boil! I wonder if some of these guards are new, and don't know to look out for these kinds of things?
There's no excuse in this day and age. "Maybe they don't read English" doesn't cut it when there are so many translation apps available. Even clunky old Google Translate will convey the general gist of the information. There's no reason to not know what's written on those signs. If there was a corresponding list of on-the-spot fines for infractions I'm sure we'd see a sudden increase in the numbers of people who suddenly understand written English. 🦁🇬🇧🔱

What's the point of touching the guards boot or stirrup, unless it's done to just annoy!!
It shows the people at home that you have managed to get away with something, others have tried to do and failed,
Like I've said before, if there's no consistency amongst the guards when it comes to touching them, their boots, the reins, the horses gear, as well as forcing themselves on the horses, then you end up with all kinds of dolts taking full advantage, and making it more difficult for the next guard. This particular guard let all kinds of folks do what they wanted. A bit bizarre really.
He is not guard just Ornament
In fairness to the guard,unless he’s actually looking at the individual and sees them making their move, he wouldn’t feel the touch through a heavy leather boot.

@3:34 Something metallic falls off either The Life Guard's horse or officer, as they are leaving, and no one there seems to notice. My guess is the horse lost the upper concho on the right side of his bridle. I also guess that the concho is stamped with either the royal seal of E II R or C III R.
