This place should have been closed off to the public years ago. Totally ridiculous to allow so many people into such a small area. 90 % of the problems at Horse Guards is down to whoever allows large numbers of people into the area.
The police are Ministry of Defence police there for security and antiterrorism as Horse Guards is a working military barracks . They are not there to protect the Guards who are soldiers remember , they have eyes everywhere plus cctv , they can and have stepped in if necessary and told groups to leave the premises .

This horse is really agitated and they still gather to take pictures and laugh and disrespect the horse guard in the horse. They’re just awful. I wish they were allowed to pet the horses.
