John, from London City Walks has spoken to them umpteen times, even trying to educate them in regards to their own history, and how the British military freed Jews from the concentration camps. They don't want to hear any of that. You'll see them on occasion act as if they are hearing and understanding what's being said, acting innocent, but they are right back at it the moment they return. They try to avoid John. He's like pest repellent to them.

They should simply be told to behave more appropriately, as other tourists are told. It doesn’t matter why some people act inappropriately or some grab the reins. Their background doesn’t matter. After the guard had been to inspect the horses at the front (6.47). As he was walking back the chain on his right boot was loose (you can just hear it clink as he walks off), Once he got back he asked a police officer to get a trooper. When one arrived (9.41) they went into the corner behind the shop where ,I presume, it was fixed.

Why is this ridicule of a soldier allowed to continue by these citizens of Israel? There are members of the British police force on duty, but they are noticeably absent when their presence is so obviously required. Without stretching the point too far, surely this could be classed as a 'public nuisance' or even 'disturbing the peace'. Their intent is obvious from the moment that they turn up. Give them their marching orders.

I think one or two changes need to be made. I have only been watching these "guards" videos for about a year and I think behaviour has worsened. The chain on the arches need to be at the front of the arch rather than the back. I think a police officer should be stood much closer to each of the guards on duty to nip this rude behaviour in the bud and tell rude people to move on before they become a nuisance. How these poor soldiers, who are on duty, have to stand there and be ridiculed is beyond me.
