Gotta watch more Antiques Road Show Hunter. Not for the antiques, but the methods. I'm 52, so I know right away that this is abandoned at least 40 years. When I saw the 'fat glass, thin Styrofoam insulated' Pepsi bottle on the ground after you showed 1968' document, it showed me that someone was in the house in the early to mid 80's. I'm only 5 minutes in and felt compelled to write this.
4:35 The kitchen and bathroom are cool. Looks like original stuff from about the 1930s, give or take a decade. I have no doubt the place has been abandoned since the 1960s or 70s.
That basement was Swamp Thing creepy,man!!Wow...I suspect the octagonal table in the first house was like a poker table...I felt like there were some good card games that went down there, and the cozy little fireplace too.Very retro indeed!Interesting finds here, but that basement gave me the shudders!Don't cut off camera,we like to walk out with you.
most jars with a quilt look or a square cube to them are for peanuts. There is a particular pattern that helps preserve them and maintain the oil quality. Just like olive pots tend to have a olive kind of shape, peanut jars are uniquely designed for that product. Of course, humans observed the long lived food quality and how stuff wasn't crushed and gross at the bottom, so they started using that shape and those jars for other food preservation, such as coffee and whatnot. Only, idk if that shape will keep other foods as good, as i said, it has to do with the shape and oil content of peanuts themselves. It's possible that it will work, check with the ag department.
That was a beautiful retro lamp, cleaned up, installed and lit, it would be great in an entry way or front porch. Leave on the cam, it is easy to drag forward if we want to and still see stills of what is happening.
The first house from my knowledge was left about "1980" not much later than that, (though the Pepsi bottle dates to 1983/84) The TV is "1960" very early '60's, not 1950's. The Table you noticed is to my memory "1976" I have an end table similar. The second one much later like 2000. I believe the stairs to the 2nd floor fell into the basement. You can see why the ppl "just left" they were being rained on. I agree, the bikes belong to buddy, & the pencils & watch etc, were his given to his kids to play with, or the tenants left them behind.
Glad you did not get your foot hurt in that stair collapse. I would be nervous to trust anything in a house where there are documents dated 1968 and a TV very obviously from about the same era.
However I must say that note was in a bizarrely good condition for anything dating the sixties. I have papers from the nineties and they are yellow and tattered. Maybe some paper is of excellent quality depending on how it is made....
I agree with your way of keeping the camera going though I can understand that there might be times when you want to or need to turn it off. I was impressed by the stone blocks holding up the first house. That is a very strong foundation. I'm not into glass collecting but I hope someone will get those bottles and jars. I'm not positive but I think the white cabinet in the first basement may have been an old-fashioned ice box in which block of ice was put in one of the compartments. The six-sided table reminds me of a bumper pool table my family had back in the 1970's.---I find so many pens that a friend called me "the pen whisperer" but finding a batch of pens in an abandoned house would be an accomplishment even for me! My guess is those pens still write.
That claw tub is worth a little bit of money for sure. Many people look for those and authentic old school ones fetch a good price. The advance watch depending on what it's name is will determine the price. Some are real cheap others go for a couple $100
My little 5 year old grandson was watching this w/me and when he heard your swear...he looked at me and said "MeMaw-he just said a wirty dord"...Must admit I busted out laughing.Out of the mouths of babes, right ? He loves watching these w/me :)
Cool old houses. It's nice that there was so many, right there close. Thanks for taking us along. yes please, keep that camera rolling from the minute you get out of your vehicle. we wanna see it all.
Keep the camera rolling! Otherwise, it's confusing where you are when it comes back on again. I think the bottle with the square pattern is an old soda bottle but don't remember which kind. For some reason I see orange soda in it. The other jar is one that instant coffee came in. Apparently this person did a lot of canning and saved every jar she could.
Those old floor boards are reusable and often worth a descent amount of money. They can be ground down past superficial stains. Kids tend to play in places like that and pack stuff in from their house.
Do you bring a first aid kit with you? Epipen for the bees? Also, I hope you got a tetanus shot? All those rusty nails! Ahhhh! I love the bees and the flowers are beautiful ! Also, this rooster plates are valued at about $4.00 each....the are vintage dinner plates produced by Royal China in the early 1960's. The pattern was named "Good Morning" and features a proud crowing rooster surrounded by ornate flowers and vines, outlined in black with a splash of deep gold or mustard color accents.....I love kitchen appliances and dinnerware...thanks for slowing down my on those!
You are awesome. I love it when, after commenting how sketchy something looks, or how you don't think you can go any further, you do it anyway. (But please be careful--I really do not want you to get hurt!)
Love the old automotive AC pump laying on the upstairs floor. Can't tell what model, maybe an old Ford? Near the vacuum cleaner is what appears to be a lower console mount evaporator for the AC system
I would forget a flashlight lol. I did my last video. I left it in the truck. I do agree with you on filming everything. It gives a sense that I'm with you in the moment.
wow nice claw foot bath tub - the wall will be full of honey and in the ceiling of the other house - at least its not full of old clothes everywhere - beautiful daffodils - they could be preserves in the bottles - if the guy owns that house with the water basement then he should know the history you would think -idk u wanna go upstairs
Yeah I think it's a good idea to have your camera on at all times just in case something bad happens, great job Dude keep them coming 👍☮️p.s. always be careful
the best thing in the basement is probably the beer bottles - assuming the labels are decent - there might be a canning jar that is decent in there - most are very very common - watch for aqua (or other colors)...
The bee house was dangerous, I wouldn't live near that many. Loved the "handgranat" bottles never seen those before what I recall right now. The goat house was weird, did look like they had chickens there for a little while, was a lot of feathers in the straw or could be some kids just having fun and making there own home, hence the colour pens and such but that house was dangerous to, don't get why they dont remove it completely the cellar is a drowning place.
I agree with the consensus... keep the camera rolling if possible. Not to the detriment of your health though. Keep up the terrific explorations. And generally, you're not really talking to yourself. 😉
the tall bottle from the first house was some type of Nehi soda from the 70's, the shorter bottle was for instant coffee late 60's to early 70's. And yes it would be good to leave your camera rolling , you may catch something you did not see at first.
The capitols over the windows are very stately. And those bottles can be sold. Luckily you didn't go into that room and try to go down those stairs! That big shoulder glove was for palpatibg, ax a mining and artificially inseminating large animals.
Nice find man! holy you got so close to those bees lol love all the daffodils that were growing around the first house :p awesome that you always look through the old bottles and jars! 13:11 lmao
BALL JARS, MASON JARS WORTH $ , COLLECTORS LIKE CLEAR COLORED JARS. There was a boom for that glass, but it went down some, but that was 20 years ago anyway.
Probably raised bees, and those are the ancestors you see buzzing around there, just moved or split off the hive. I know where there are several wild hives that are descendants of hives farmers took care of and harvested the honey, sadly the farms and farmers are gone and the land is being developed for housing and a new turnpike. But the bees remain.
I like you to film while you're retracing your steps just because sometimes it helps me orient myself direction wise in the house and know what rooms you have done or not
Keep the camera running when you go and retrace your steps...we may see something that we didnt see the first time you went through...and you never know what could happen.
That whole house could collapse on you I know you know ,but in Philly news they just had an abandaminium fall on a homeless man . Great videos man TU for you
That would be very painful and possibly fatal if you would happen to lose your balance and fall on all that glass. And out in the middle of nowhere, maybe miles from the nearest hospital.
Hey Hunter! Ever take a deep breath after getting out of some of these places? Especially kind of smelly ones? I know I do after you get out! Great videos!
I like the way you do them. You try and find out the history, you talk thru them, I think they are pretty good! Not like some I've seen where they just almost run thru them don't focus on anything and never say a word and want a "like & subscribe" uuhhh....no. I like yours just the way they are! Thank you.
Apparently the new wave of scrapping from where I'm from is ripping up old wood flooring crown moulding siding or anything relatively interesting and sell it to a not so reputable architectural salvage company. Which is a great idea don't get me wrong but have permission to do it and make sure you compensate the family.
It's wide open so I'm sure that people who need things for their houses they go looking in this abandoned house for what they can use or they sell the lumber as old lumber like they do for old barns. They are canning jars. These people canned their own food. Wow, when they left they just left everything. Wonder why?
That water in the basement must produce tons of bugs. What state is this in, and why do they let these places stand? I heard an electric buzz at the end of this video.
i love to watch your and others exploring but am sorry you all use filthy language. every one dosent use that language so guess I will have to drop all of you guys.
Im pretty sure one of those bees was a fricken honey bee. You are brave dude!!! Crazy scary houses to explore. Zackley...let it roll. Dont forget your hipwaders next time Bro! (Kidding!)
I can just imagine the mosquitoes that place produces. It looks like a health hazard to me, not to mention a hazard to animals. Both places need to be demolished and the cellars need to be filled in.
@7:22 to the right of the record player is a vintage under dash a/c unit worth about $100.00. The original Ford compressor w/bracket is resting in view on the studs you're walking on.
Doesn't any one keep track of abandoned property, a government department, a city committee, mayor, anyone??? This property didn't look this way all the time. Oh well.
Does anybody know what that sound was at around 19:20?? I say keep the camera rolling throughout the entire exploration, you never know what you might see on the way out like you said.
its not an insect buzzing by. its been on other vids and a lot of times its a lot longer. like Abandoned House - For Multiple Generations. you can hear it when the grandson pulls up through the radio and the device.
Good question, but I'd say probably, since they produce more EMF. BUT, the bulb never needs to be changed. Which is a awesome thing. I had an LED light a while ago, and would interfere with phone calls. I put most of my calls on speaker (I am alone 99% of the time and have lost some hearing from the military), and had the light laying on the same table near the phone and it would cause some static. It may not be the case here, but I'd say most likely.

cool shot of decaying house w/ the pretty daffodils growing. nature rules!
The pretty daffodils add a nice touch to this house. It also has curbside apeal LOL
The bees like those daffodils, too.
4:35 The kitchen and bathroom are cool. Looks like original stuff from about the 1930s, give or take a decade. I have no doubt the place has been abandoned since the 1960s or 70s.
Have really been enjoying your video's , was hoping you wouldn't fall through the floor of the old trailer with the Grandma clothes. :)

The second one much later like 2000.

You can see why the ppl "just left" they were being rained on.
I agree, the bikes belong to buddy, & the pencils & watch etc, were his given to his kids to play with, or the tenants left them behind.
Let the camera roll! I can not believe you walked across that floor knowing that basement was full of stagnant water like that! Brave man. ;)
There was a pool ladder down there. CLEARLY it was just an indoor pool! :)
Lol!
Let it roll because it helps us keep track of the flow of the house. We can keep track of the floor plan better that way.
I agree with your way of keeping the camera going though I can understand that there might be times when you want to or need to turn it off. I think it's a Orange Crush Soda Bottle, so the orange sounds right :)
didn't see any plastic
It looks likes they had all of their canned food on shelves in the basement. My grandmother used to store hers there.
Lovely little time warp! Would love to find something like this in England!
The "upstairs" in the 2nd house was the attic, which is why you didn't find stairs.
Those old floor boards are reusable and often worth a descent amount of money. They can be ground down past superficial stains. Kids tend to play in places like that and pack stuff in from their house.
Such awesome find lots of antiques cool.
Bottle collectors dream find!!
That second house needs to be torn down and the basement filled on. It's dangerous.
Hi Hunter. Another awesome explore. I love how you quietly film the outside, so cool. So glad you're back.
Do you bring a first aid kit with you? Epipen for the bees? Also, I hope you got a tetanus shot? All those rusty nails! Ahhhh! I love the bees and the flowers are beautiful !

oh - and the bottle you are wondering about - ketchup most likely - or maybe a syrup - definitely a condiment - most of the others are soda/beer
the jar you put up on the step there was a instant coffee jar.
i think it was Nescafe
I wonder why the owner does not retrieve antiques from that house and clean them up and sell them. People love those sorts of things!
the bottle that had squares on bottom was a nehi bottle around 1960's
The bee house was dangerous, I wouldn't live near that many. Loved the "handgranat" bottles never seen those before what I recall right now. The goat house was weird, did look like they had chickens there for a little while, was a lot of feathers in the straw or could be some kids just having fun and making there own home, hence the colour pens and such but that house was dangerous to, don't get why they dont remove it completely the cellar is a drowning place.
I would love to have all those canning jars!
Apparently some people ,living in countryside, without trash pick up, would dump or store glass abd metal as it won't burn.
I agree with the consensus... keep the camera rolling if possible. Not to the detriment of your health though. Keep up the terrific explorations. And generally, you're not really talking to yourself. 😉
awesome wall tile! Love the explore 😊
You said the neighbor said they just moved...it looks abandoned for a long time to me.
"I thought he was explaining,When they Left they just up and Left no word or nothing,LOL,Looks like they took all their Windows!!!"
Hi Hunter, I would prefer if you kept the camera rolling or as you say anything can happen when you turn it off (and it usually does ;)) xx
the tall bottle from the first house was some type of Nehi soda from the 70's, the shorter bottle was for instant coffee late 60's to early 70's. And yes it would be good to leave your camera rolling , you may catch something you did not see at first.
Am I the only one that secretly wants the white and black rooster plates and cups ?? ;-)
Honey in the walls, liquid gold.
Those older houses are built with good oak lumber, old lumber worth good money
The capitols over the windows are very stately. And those bottles can be sold. Luckily you didn't go into that room and try to go down those stairs! That big shoulder glove was for palpatibg, ax a mining and artificially inseminating large animals.
Keep rolling because sometimes we miss something.
I think those bottles with the squares held olive oil back in the 60's
Love the fire place
Nice find man! holy you got so close to those bees lol love all the daffodils that were growing around the first house :p awesome that you always look through the old bottles and jars! 13:11 lmao

Oh my goodness!!! Yay!!!
Exploring with Hunter how can you win tshirts?
I sent you a message last night through your you tube. If that isn't the right place just please let me know. :)
You can email me. I dont check email very often. But I will start. I know you had to speak with me about it.
That whole house could collapse on you I know you know ,but in Philly news they just had an abandaminium fall on a homeless man . Great videos man TU for you
1968 ... just left ... probably became Hobo Hippies :D
Love your videos...Thank you
That would be very painful and possibly fatal if you would happen to lose your balance and fall on all that glass. And out in the middle of nowhere, maybe miles from the nearest hospital.
One thing is for sure- you don't want to go through the floor into the black hole under there
Hey Hunter! Ever take a deep breath after getting out of some of these places? Especially kind of smelly ones? I know I do after you get out! Great videos!

Zackley...let it roll. Dont forget your hipwaders next time Bro!
(Kidding!)
leave camera on,,and please tell the name of perfumes you find,,some are rare
Why is every abondened house smashed to pieces..?
That stove in the first house is an oil stove that was used for heat.
I can just imagine the mosquitoes that place produces. It looks like a health hazard to me, not to mention a hazard to animals. Both places need to be demolished and the cellars need to be filled in.
I can't believe you never looked at the tub.
The wrinkly glass bottle may have been early orange crush.
I use to go urban exploring but I don't anymore
The bees have some good honey in the walls for sure.
I like when you leave the camera on
Moon shine!😃
Pan slower... You make me dizzy.. other than that.. good job.. well done
@7:22 to the right of the record player is a vintage under dash a/c unit worth about $100.00. The original Ford compressor w/bracket is resting in view on the studs you're walking on.
Leave the camera on ,its great
I'm watching one of you latest videos right now
A fortune in canning jars.
Doesn't any one keep track of abandoned property, a government department, a city committee, mayor, anyone??? This property didn't look this way all the time. Oh well.
I think you might have been right about the honey as the jars seem like jars used to put honey.
Looks like there may have been an explosion in the room without a floor. No other floors or ceilings were in that condition!! Just saying,,,,
I know this is an old video but anyway. Old colored glass is worth something to a collector so is some old mason jars which I seen some in the mess.
Could be snakes in the basement.
please don't ever turn the camera off I love the real raw footage...editing is for she-its!!!!
"No way they just moved out,This house is to far gone,Who could live like this,But the Poor Homeless People!!!"
Does anybody know what that sound was at around 19:20??
I say keep the camera rolling throughout the entire exploration, you never know what you might see on the way out like you said.
Which area is this ? I want to explore there too..
tv is groovy
That noise sounds like a Metal detector?
Hey, what state is this in? im guessing, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina Maryland? thanks
You made me laugh when you said eeew lol
i heard that electronic noise again. do you have a ghost box hunter? another nice capture :)
its not an insect buzzing by. its been on other vids and a lot of times its a lot longer. like Abandoned House - For Multiple Generations. you can hear it when the grandson pulls up through the radio and the device.
I think it's when the flashlight's EMF interferes with the mic. It's happened with mine before.
ah interesting. never knew a flashlight could do that. must be with the led types? thanks for the info :)
THE PEOPLE JUST LEFT ?
Have that claw foot tub in or house now
ugh I always wonder if someone falls into these basements with crud
Collectible soda pop bottles.
