Completely wrong! Garret tried to run Rudolph through the floor with 8 seconds left in the game. They had the lead and were about to win the game. Garret was completely out of line.

I love how this is just like a domestic case, when all anyone is looking at is the action, and not what led up to it. Not saying Garrett was any where close to right, but it's obvious Mason started that altercation.

They were both going at it, just a regular heated scuffle, but once we(well average people who have never seen real violence in their lives) saw Rudolph without his helmet, with that crazy look on his face, and his nose so red, it gave an element of shock value, making it seem worse than it really was, just because it was caught on live tv....Miles ultimately took it way too far....he could have, or should have at least been able to manhandle that dude with his bare hands, but he went and played dirty.....That said, im sure it was the result of being caught off guard by Rudolph actually wanting a piece of him, as most QBs would not be nearly that crazy/stupid to think they could take him out, being much smaller and weaker most of the time, so he reacted without thinking by using the helmet....The helmet aside, if they had kept it clean, it wouldve been no different than fights that break out during practice all the time....The media(big surprise) has blown this totally out of proportion.

Nobody said that. The point was Mason instigated and started as well as continued a fight, so he deserves blame too even though his actions weren't as extreme as MG. MG made a clean sack on Rudolph and Rudolph started the fight by going for Garret's helmet, he didn't just wrap himself onto Rudolph for no reason.

But instead of laying him flat out he wrapped him up and spun him down to the ground. Wasn't late, wasn't dirty, 100% clean professional play, no flag. Then Rudolph acts like a big baby trying to rip his helmet off and the drama begins.

We shouldn’t be defending anyone. Both should be suspended multiple games. Rudolph is a cry baby for kicking Garrett on the ground and trying to take off his helmet. Garrett lost his mind hitting him on the head with his helmet but luckily it was on the bottom of the helmet.
Rudolph didn’t kick Garrett on the ground. That was Pouncey. Mason should get a 1-2 game suspension for instigating. Onjobu (or how we you spell it idk) should get 4-5 games for that cheap shot. Pouncey should get 8-10 games for kicking a man in the head on the ground. And Garrett should probably get a full calendar year suspension at the very least.
Bottom of the helmet is the worst place to be hit because of surface area bud, it's not like it's any less hard than anywhere else.

You didn't miss much... I half wish as a Steelers fan I didn't watch it. TNF games are already whack cuz you're asking men who just took a beating 3 days ago to lace up again, on top of that, an already lethargic Steelers offense loses it's starting RB and two starting WRs, with a rookie QB trying to make plays.

I'm with Max. If I START a fight and I try to grab a brick and I'm unsuccessful grabbing said brick and the person that I am fighting is able to grab a brick and clocks me with it as I'm charging towards him then that's on me. I should've been able to grab the brick in the first place and if I wasn't successful then I most certainly shouldn't have charged towards the other person who had the brick. This isn't hard, it's fighting 101. Mason should get 2-3 games for starting the fight, Garrett should 6-10 games for the helmet hit and let's move on.

Bottom line is that he started the fight and they both should be suspended. There is no place for groin kicks with your cleats up and there is no place for swinging a helmet. Garrett should get 10-16 games and Mason should get 2-3. Let's move on.
