- Buttermere Sailbeck fell race 2024 - English Championship race - 9.3 miles, 4314 ft elevation. The route goes anticlockwise from Buttermere village to
- Knott Rigg first,
- followed by Ard Crags (581 m) - CP1,
- steep descent towards Rigg Beck crossing - CP2 (cut off time of 1.5 hours,
- steep ascent to Causey Pike (637 m) - CP3,
- Eel Crag (aka Cragg Hill (840 m) - CP4,
- and finally Whiteless Pike (660 m) - CP5

sorry, I made a mistake. In the video I said that it's the 3rd counter race in the English Championship, but it is the 4th!
I was unable to run this race due to injury so your video has given me some of the race flavour I missed. 😊

I am so envious! I currently have a knee injury - lateral collateral ligament [I fell off a gate and bent my knee sideways], and I'm off running for a year. Thanks for posting this, it's a real tonic. Maybe next year... just, maybe.
