In South Korea they always write their last name first. So for example: Bang Chan his last name is Bang (but it gets complicates sometimes since he´s australian and his name is also Christopher thats why they wrote his name diffrently in this guide i think), Hwang Hyunjin his last name is Hwang etc. But they sometimes change their name or just uses a part of their name as their stage name for example: Lee Know real name Lee Minho or I.N whos name is Yang Jeongin just put a dot between his last two letters of his name JeongIN. I think the way to see Han as the Ace is that he is phenomenal at everything. Most rappers can't sing well, but he excels at both. He is considered one of the top Aces in K-pop while the rest of Stray Kids are considered all rounders. They too can do everything, but Han is in a different league. My bias is Chris, but Han is so good at everything he keeps bias wrecking me. Great reaction, glad I found you. ❤
24:00, so that's why we call them an all-rounder group, because all members can do everything, including dance, vocals, and rap. But ACE is different, it is a special term in kpop (which there aren't many of) when there is a member that does extremely well in all aspects, and could even be mistaken for being the main singer, main dancer, or main rapper even of they aren't😊
Ofc all of them can sing rap dance... I'd say all members are allrounder... But title THE ACE is already HAN nickname from predebut... The way he can handle the highest note vocal, the hardest rap, and difficult dance move, that's why he's called the ace by fans & all stray kids members... Plus he's one of main producer along w/ Bangchan & Changbin....

The song with Seugmin and Han singing was an episode of Two kids show where they talk and then sing live. In this episode they sang Volcano and Hold on it was fantastic and so worth a watch. Thank you great reaction
In kpop the main is the one on top. All others are either lead that comes second, and sub comes in third place, but stray kids don't use these anymore. They are multi talented.
Seungmin is not just a fan, he has been playing baseball professionally since childhood but was unable to continue due to injury, and his grandfather is also a fairly famous baseball player in South Korea. Of the recent events, there is also no mention of Seungmin's modeling career or his collaborations with such fashion brands as Loewe and Harry Winston.
And this year Seungmin started hosting his own show on the official STRAY KIDS channel called "SONG BY" where he talks about his thoughts on music and sings the chosen song.

about producing: Chan focuses more on making beats and arrangement than the other two, but the others also do that, just as Chan also writes lyrics. Like anyone has their strengths, Chan is particularly good in making beats and producing the music, but that doesn't mean he doesn't also do everything else well, and it also doesn't mean the others don't also produce music. 3RACHA in general is a producing unit and how heavy each one's input into each song varies a bit. They talk about it like "that's one of Changbin's/Han's/Chan's songs" etc., but they do really work together on most music.
It doesn't stop with 3RACHA as producers, though, Hyunjin has gotten a taste of songwriting/production as well and some songs in albums are written and produced by him, and all the Kids have copyrights to songs they (co-)wrote and/or produced by now. It's just that some have a heavier focus here or there. (But yes, everything goes through Bang Chan.)
About the main, lead, and sub position thing: Main and lead in kpop is not interchangeable. It's not an evaluation like "best dancer" but rather the *function* your position as a dancer has for the group (or other positions than dancing). Lead means that you're leading the rest of the team lmao, like Lee Know for dance. Main means more like your position catches the eye, it's often a core element in songs and performances, and it's your job to bring the center piece and energy.
As for Stray Kids, as you noticed, they can do everything and ALL give their all in performances, which is exactly the reason why SKZ don't have these official positions anymore. They're still used to introduce new fans to who each member is and where they come from, position-wise, but they don't adhere to it. That's the advantage of them producing their own music, they can adjust everything to everyone as they see fit.
They are all so talented you got that right they can do at all. Would love to see your Ginnie pigs... I can tell you never had a cat this narrative that they are mean and scary is bs anyone who has a cat will tell you they are amazing. Seungmin is my bias I absolutely love his voice and sense of humor ❤

In terms of positions in Kpop its Main>Lead>Position and then there is Sub. Positions are based on technique and experience, the sub postion is a bit harder for me to explain and tbh i don't have a full understanding of it, you can have multiple people in 1 position but there is normally less as the rankings get higher. Also, lots of new kpop groups including Stray kids, don't really use positions anymore so it's honestly not something you really have to keep 100% track of. Most groups nowadays just have "Leader" and that's it which I like because it doesn't limit artists and they get to branch out so we see more diversity.

Language is weird in Kpop and yet it works, some of the self-writers are even so intelligent they manage to rhyme Korean syllabus - world construct with an Enlgish word-sentence ending and it still makes sense.
Think about that there are also people in Kpop who sing and rap maybe in their 2nd-3rd+ language(s)...when they have Thai, Chinese or Japanese background. 🤭 🤭

i'm pretty sure Han and Changbin have the same face shape, so that is probably why you are getting them mixed up sometimes. something that might help you differentiate between them is that Han has slightly fuller/chubbier cheeks.

OST stands for 'Original Soundtrack', most popular for Kdramas. They can either be solos or duets with other artists! Also, as far as the positions of 'Main dancer', 'Lead vocalist' etc., StrayKids don't really box any of their members into any specific role anymore given that, just like you said, they are all aces and can do everything well. Some members are more trained/comfortable in some roles which is why the group is divided into your 3 sub-units (3Racha - Bangchan, Changbin, Han; Danceracha - Lee Know, Felix, Hyunjin; Vocalracha - Seungmin, IN) but the point is that they aren't confined to those areas and you often will see these 'roles' bleed into each other because, again, all members can do everything. :)

lmao There can be several lead rappers and main rappers, same for all position but main and lead are not the same. Lead will be people that usually take that position in the production/performance. Main is the person that usually does it the most in each song. For example Hyunjin is a lead rapper so he will usually rap in songs and he is part of skz's rapline (Even tho everyone can rap). However Changbin will usually rap more than Hyuinjin on a track (longer rap verses) whole Hyunjin might alternate more with little singing parts or just have less lines.

And when if first got into SKZ Han and Changbin were the two i got comfused all the time so dont worry! The more you watch, the more you'll be able to tell them apart!
I think how they get more than one lead dancer, or rapper is because of the sub groups. There are 3 main sub groups in Stray Kids. 3Racha is the producing sub group and sort of the rapline as well. It includes Chris, Changbin and Han. So they are all lead producers as the others guys are not. DanceRacha is another subgroup that consists of Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix...they are considered main dancers, the others are not. VocalRacha is Seungmin and I.N, they are considered lead Vocalists, the others are not. They all can dance, sing, rap etc... but there are ones that are considered the main ones. The only change has been Hyunjin, Chris used to be a main rapper originally. Now he is a sub rapper with Hyunjin taking over main rapper title now.
OST means Original Sound Track and refers to a song off a kdrama or movie. Seungmin has been the lead singer for kdrama songs, but Stray Kids has done OST's for anime as well.

31:40 Nah cause we need to talk about this lmao. I don't think he moves like a shy person but more like every autistic or ADHD person I know. It's not an insult or anything, I move the same way. The thing is that he is NOT the only one moving that way in that group. He is also really into cute and soft stuff and he low-key loves to be babied (I got proof) so I think there is a lot of "younger brother" attitude that makes him move like a spoiled toddler. I'm exaggerating a bit but please don't see that as an insult to Seungmin, I love him.

So.... Weird way to look at it, but might help you understand the different position titles:
Think of the group like a business.
Chan is the Manager.
Changbin and Han are the supervisors (because they help write the songs and help produce)
If they are labeled as a 'main ___'
they are similar to a 'shift lead'. They are considered... Not BETTER ... But more like given responsibility to oversee and be in charge of that aspect.
People who are 'Lead ____" are the people assigned to be on that' team'.
When they debuted they all have officially assigned roles (as most groups do in Korea) but as time has gone on they have gotten rid of official positions, because they all do a bit of everything now.

without trying to be a know it all, they are all-rounders but not aces. An ace excels at everything and could be mistaken as a main in everything. Seungmin can rap his ahh off but he definitely struggles in that area. Han sings side to side with Seungmin easily (even tho Seungmin's technique is better) and raps side to side with Changbin (even tho Binnie has a better grasp of the discipline). He also can sit at the same table as Hyunjin in terms of stage presence (Even if Hyunjin tends to be more solid at it)

Main means that they are the top/main of that position, there are usually only 1 main producer, dancer, vocalist, rapper. Lead is the next level under main, and sub is after that. For example, Lee Know is the main dancer, lead vocalist and sub rapper- he does all these things but he is best at dancing then singing then rapping. Hyunjin is primarily a dancer, but there is only 1 main dancer, so he is a lead dancer, he raps second most often so he is a lead rapper and a sub vocalist as he does this least often.
Both han and changbin are main rappers, the same way both hyunjin and minho är main dancers. No need to spread misinformation
