McHenry Honors Leroy Lail on the House Floor

Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) delivered a speech on the House floor to honor the legacy of Leroy Lail, a Catawba County legend who passed away in February at the age of 85.
A visionary business leader, Leroy Lail founded the Hickory Furniture Mart and went on to achieve additional success in the hospitality sector. Spending 13 years on the UNC Board of Governors, Leroy was a staunch advocate for higher education.
